There are more Firefox users than IE6 users

That's interesting news, more people still visit my site using Internet Explorer, though.

 

It's normal. IE6 is an old browser. Most of the people are using IE7, and also now IE8. But, in the nearly feature (3-4 years) I see Firefox to be number 1 web browser.

 

Good point. IE7 users should be higher then IE6... Altho firefox is more secure... Go figure

 

Many people use IE because they think IE is the internet. They don't know about browsers .

BTW, that's interesting news. I hate IE because of the compatibility issues and its less secure.

 

Most of my visitors are still using IE too. Not surprisingly, Firefox 2 is ahead of Firefox 3 too

 

well in my own POV, FF is climbing to be the no.1 browser..

 

At my first time in the net.. I was in favor of IE, but I got irritated
when it suddenly closed the tab I'm using, then I discovered
FF now life is easier with it, I have never used IE since then.

 

Haha, come to think of it, some surfers are still in that level of course all the annoying guys that think FF is #1 ain't any better

 

In Europe, and parts of Asia, half of all users do not use IE.

I think IE will always have more people as it default with windows, but FF will catch up!

 

IMO, It is not true "There are more Firefox users than IE6 users " .
It is true "many users opting to use Firefox or an alternative browser rather than opting for IE7 ".
I am one of those who prefer FF2/FF3 rather than IE8 .
The reason is obviously.
IE6/7/8 is totally wrong and not w3c standard compliant .

Yeah, I agree with your point either.. Anyway, I love firefox as my browser..

firefox always asks me for flash plugins on tube sites

 

It's also reported on ZDNet, NetApps, and two other wire services. Believe it.

 

I use opera and also IE but not firefox.
