    I have checked my site stats and tracked exit links activity .. According to statcounter there were 22 clicks on google from my site .. and google only tracked one click ? so does it mean google eating clicks to make unjustified profits ..

    I doubt it, it's a possibility that your stats did not update yet. I doubt that Google would do anything like that because Adwords and Adsense is the core of their business, and if they receive any negative publicity about either one of those services you can bet that Google would be in big trouble with both advertisers andd publishers. So chances of them doing that are very slim.

    You said it just as i would :)

    buzzerhutdotcom, i bet there is a problem somewhere that you didn't see or you need to just wait for the stats to update :)

    i doubt it will be updated later . because i am feeling it from one month since i started .. for some days all clicks r tracked for some days only 10-20% clicks are tracked.
    to verify the fact simple add statcounter code on your website .. it simply say exit link acitvity means .. where user click to leave your page . i have placed affiliate links and clicks for them are tracked on real time i am 100% sure clicks are not being tracked for google.

    Do you mean you checked using statcounter.com ? if so, the exit pages stats do not show the Adsense clicks there!

    you should install the latest statcounter code for tracking exit links.

    @OP
    It can be that the visitor clicked on the "link unit" and didn't click on the ads in the next page.

    maybe you are using old version . But i would ask dp members to monitor their outgoing links on adsense on regular basis . you will find you how google skips clicks .... ..affiliate networks often do it but did not expect it from google.

    I think google Adsense does not know either that the clicks are tracked using statcounter. I guess they will include it in their TOS soon that sites using statcounter are not allowed to show Google ads! BTW Do not click those links as it would be against Google current TOS!
    As for Google miscounting the clicks: I have just noticed this Exit link Activity feature of statcounter, thanks to you guys and as i have one new project i checked the status and the result is: Statcounter shows 12 outgoing daily clicks versus google ads and my adsense account shows only 5 :( Those are not ad units but text links where visitors just click them.

    I was always sure Google would never misbehave like that! i would blame it on statcounter for now as this "Exit link" is a new thing and must be in Beta stage!! I learned alot about statcounter just now!!
