    Before doing any of this..

Do the research it takes to find a niche that MAKES MONEY. Most of the people here at DP are soo into making money via affiliate networks, building blogs and hoping to make money via articles etc that they dont open their minds to service oriented sites or selling a product.

$250 is plenty of a budget to start a business and make money. Possibly look into a product that you'll be able to drop ship that has a large profit margin... There are plenty of open source type scripts out there to get the products out there. With a $250 budget, you're going to have to do a lot of SEO marketing work on your own. It also depends what you're into. If you're able to build websites or offer SEO, start a site in your home town and work that niche.

    Good luck though

    Yea, that's exactly affiliate. ;)

Agree, if you now some PHP or seo, you can use them for some cash, but you won't get rich with this.

Find out what you like and want to do online. As you've bee on the Forum for a bit you should have a pretty good idea. once you figure that out get specifics, like if you want to start a blog and get link paid etc. Hosting business etc ask around the Forum on these topics and see what gives you the best "bang for the buck".

You have to like what you do is the biggest thing.

I agree, create a concrete plan and compare prices for hosting, advertising, etc. Make sure to research I was a dork and purchased hosting for a year and had not thought out everything beforehand. I used up over 3,000.00. Now I'm trying to work smarter and working on being patient. Good luck!
