Don't understand how I go from PR3 to PR1 even when PR prediction was shooting for PR4. Doesn't make any sense. All of my links are still there, I build my links on a daily basis. Content is good and unique. No idea how I could get bumped like this :(

    Hello...

Got any outbound link and your not using no follow on them?

I found about 13 links without nofollow on your home page

    support.dell.com/
    freedictionary.org/
    yourdictionary.com/
    ect ect

and still ten more that could be fixed as that will drain your PR to them

they should have an explanation in webmaster tools that tells ya what affected your site...

When did the PR update happened? I am waiting for PR update thinking it will happen finally by April 1st.

In between also some PR changes happen but I believe they are only temporary fluctuations and google will average them every quarter.

As malcolm1 says, I agree that outbound links without nofollow are risky. But they will not make your page rank=NA though. because you still have lot of inbound links. Google counts every one of them..

Sorry I didn't mean to post this in this category. Perhaps it could be moved if it's a problem. Connection seems to be spotty causing problems when I post.

Anyways, The adding NoFollow tags to those I agree. I doubt it shoulda dropped me that badly though. Traffic and SERPS remains the same. Been checking throughout the day and it's sticking to /1/. Oh well.

    cpuhlp,

Just wait for more time. I think these are only temporary changes. Final changes happen by April 1st, that will not change. I think you may recover page rank by that time. But you still need to worry about outbound links because Google thinks they are paid links and you are cheating.

That is how Google has taken away our freedom. But if the link is only for the sake of linking nofollow shouldn't be a problem..

Check your backlinks one more time, you might lost an important one.. or simply the linking sites have decreased in PR!

The logical explanation would be that your incoming links themselves have less PR. Maybe you have had an incoming link from a PR6 page that went to PR5. Or one of your incoming links was nofollowed. Something like that.

Another possibility is that Google tweaked yet again how they calculate PR, though I have to say I haven't noticed anything personally yet.

    Its easy to understand.....

Your domain resolves to http:// and http://www

    So PR is diluted

the links you built were not worthwhile

you have 10 links in Google 1 is from a deep link directory which is grayed out or has 0 PR

5 are from your own site so not worthwhile.

One has an anchor text about smurfs....

PR prediciton tools are useless.... since none were written by Google.... it is impossible for a 3rd party to judge what Google values.....

The use of a tool like those is as sound an idea as my predicting what you will have for dinner tonight...

Contrary to what was posted earlier outbound links DO NOT dilute your PageRank....
