Mascot contest: 72 Hours, $20

Ok I have $20 up for grabs for a mascot
for Techmonkeys.co.uk

The new site is currently being designed and I need a mascot to go with it!

So I am after something that suits the name TechMonkeys, is appealing and friendly looking.

I have in mind a monkey in a labcoat or a Geeky Monkey or a Frustrated Monkey, but I am open to ideas.

The website is Green, brown, grey and white in colour, if that helps.

Looks nice, but did you design it yourself? it almost looks like it is embroidered? Also is not quite what I am after, something a little more cartoony.

Actually really like this, however what I am after is a Mascot, not a logo am afraid.

Very nice artwork, but it needs to be more geeky/nerdy/technical.

Getting closer, but it is missing some oomph, I think maybe if it were more "geeky" it would help, maybe with eyes open too and not such a big smile (man I am picky git)

full body or just the face?

 

Full body preferably and one thing I forgot to say is I will need the image in PSD format so I can modify easily when/if needed.

 

all my work is vector (.ai or.svg), so that it is scalable to any size without quality loss.

If you really prefer .psd i can import it afterward? (if you like my design that is!)

 

well the only reason I say PSD is cos it's what I have, is it possible to get both formats? (cheeky git I am)

Just a quick tip, you could probably expect some better entries if you raised the prize a bit.

To be honest, for $20 there are a couple of decent designs.

Its easy to find something on the first page of Google Images.

 

It's true the money for this contest is a bit low, but even for $20 he should expect original work


Anyway, here is my entry in three different styles. As you can see im going for the third one on the far right so I added his techie stuff (pencils, screwdriver, glasses). These can be added to either of the other two if you prefer these designs.
