How do you get more affiliates to promote your products? Obviously DP has a very limited audience of affiliates. I sometimes get the feeling that there are more publishers here even.
Probably you are right, affiliates turn to so called publisher but only few really manage to have good products.. But most people just put a crappy website, with a copied ebook + weak salesletter and call themselves publisher.. Respect
you can go to jvnotifypro.com...lot of affiliates mastermind was there..but make sure you have good quality product...
Wow that's kind of funny considering that you wrote the following below.....so have things changed or have you just forgotten how to get the "initial couple of hundred affiliates"..........
Hi. Being an affiliate myself, I am very picky about who I choose to become an affiliate for. I wish you would have told me a little bit more about your product. Is it an ebook? If so, you should charge no more than $20 for it and you won't make much money off of it after you split the profits with your affiliate. Also, is there a lead caption on the page? A lead caption a bubble or contact form visible on the first page that viewer can type in their name and detail...in other words, you can get a free lead, even if the person doesn't buy your product. If you do have a LEad caption on the first page, this can be the main reason why affiliates will not promote your product. They would be promoting your product for free. Also, maybe you should try another marketplace besides clickbank to get affiliates. I hate to say it, but many affiliates are leaving clickbank now because there are too many better options out there who pay affiliates on a weekly or semi weekly basis. Clickbank only pays once a month, and you also have to have a certain amount earned before you can even get that. In my opinion, switch marketplaces.
i know a lot of good affiliates do keep an eye on this and other forums ... even if they aren't always posting, they are keeping an eye on new products coming out ... there's a number of forums, so spread the word ...
