    I submit my site into Google, YAHOO, MSN only. Those SE's are enough for you.

    By submitting site to various SE it helps to index in that SE. But i think there is no need to submit site to all SE. Just submit to main Search engines like Google, yahoo, msn etc...

    there is no advantage at all in submitting your site to various search engines as they don't care about it. you need to understand how search engines find your site. they find your site by getting the backlinks to your site. those who say that we do search engine submissions for so and so price are making fool out of you. never go for it and never do it too

    not worth your time really. by all means pay others to do it for you (for cheap) but you should simply concentrate on the big 3 as 99.99% of all search traffic to your site will come from them :)
    and you shouldnt submit your site to google, just put a link to it in your sig at this site and it will find and index you naturally and quicker than submitting it to google.

    I can tell you one very good reason. Traffic. there are other search engines besides google, yahoo and msn you can dominate easily and will get you traffic. I have customers getting massive traffic and sales by targetting engines other than google,yahoo and msn for specific niches.

    There are few local search engines(that are not supported by any major search engines) that are not too frequent to index the pages, there you can submit your website manually.

    I wouldn't bother submitting to any ofthe main search engines - if you've got a few good backlinks they will all pick you up in a matter of days.

    get some relevant backlinks from sites frequently crawled and you won't need any submission.

    submitting to search engine could do more harm than good.

    There are free services out there that submit to all search engines at once for you. This can save you a bunch of time.

    it is a good idea if you want to get listed and submitting them manually will keep you out of trouble with the search engines.
