    Well, you can spend $$$ to ask for link building and SEO services or you can use a link building ebook from http://yournoobguide.com.

    p.s. backlinks are the things which help you gain a pagerank :)

    Just like what b4db0y said, getting a good backlinks is what you need to gain Pagerank. You can take a look at Buy,Sell or Trade forum for link exchange or you can hire people to do a blog commenting for you.

    If you want to do it yourself, just look for a do-follow blogs and start commenting. Use DP search function to find list of do-follow blogs as members always list out the URL that they know.

    1.- Submit your site to social bookmarking sites like delicoius and reddit,
    2.- Write articles and promote them on ezinearticles and articledashboard.
    3.- Drop relevants comments on blogs related with your niche
    4.- Submit your site to digg and propeller

    That's enough for a PR2 in a few weeks

    Thats the worst thing you can do as in most cases it will loss the PR within a
    few weeks/months after google figures that little BS trick :rolleyes:

    If you already have a website, you can gain PR by building relevant backlinks to your site. The easier way to check your PR value, is by installing Google Toolbar to your internet browser.

    No such software, only auto submission software, it helps but not much.
    To get PR, you need to get quality backlink, not quantity

    You don't have to be more aggressive on getting PR. Ranking is more important, if you're building links for sure you'll get PR sooner.

    I will give you a candid advice. Do not be tricked and don't rely on any software for backlinks to increase your PR. The best for you is to build your links, register for link exchange sites like linkmarket.net and so many of them, contribute to forums, blogs and submit to directories. Am sure your PR will increase. Goodluck.

    You can hire a professional to do SEO for you (make sure they don't mention the words "guarantee" and "cheap") or you can just do the above mentioned chores yourself.
