Hello Man, "I have done a little SEO", this is your BIG MISTAKE, don't do a little SEO, but do a SOLID SEO. Your E-commerce Site look Decent as say "rapidvectorseo", and I believe this business can be profitable, So if you want more traffic, FOCUS your effort on SEO. that's mean don't waste your time and energy trying to do everything. hey, remember: SEO strategy is a long term strategy (in some cases it can take even 1/2~1 year if done correctly). Yep, I do think SEO is very important, to accelerate targeted traffic try out to optimize some of the potential keywords to get leverage from search engine.
yep, you should go "just my advice" for a long tail keyword, (less competitve keywords) and optimise your site for them. you can then rank fastly and drive some targeted traffic. but the most important thing in this strategy, you'll make money, so you can Re-invest this money to boost your Site. Money Makes Money....
i have had success using project-wonderful.com the cost per visitor is very good. this will require funds though to invest. what about running a competition on a popular blog that has your customers as readers? like a perfume blog? give away some free prizes to get a lot of exposure
have you tried thing like article writing, youtube blasting and of course buying some PPC ads on networks like google and yahoo?
i am currently using yahoo ppc. It works very well. Im looking for more though. I have also done article marketing.

There are a ton of ways to get traffic. OK, Some work well and others don't. Find what works for you and replicate it. Here are 2 ideas. If you are interested in the others - check out my blog. I would think the answer to your question is the holy grail of ecommerce, everybody is searching for that one but I doubt anybody will ever find it. It is just down to sheer hard work and dogged determination!
I'm assuming you've used Google Analytics to see how well you're doing. You need to focus on optimizing on your keywords, rather than on organic traffic. Try to get some good authority backlinks - for example, writing a real article on your business subject and getting it posted on ezine.com. Good hunting!
