so what you guys are saying, that u can use creditcard in any other person's name from ur PP account to withdraw $$.
if yes, the wouldn't that be the best way to transfer cash from one person to another? why use paypal transactions at all. lol.

    am totally confused. clearification required.

I am sure there will be. when did you withdrawn your money ? have you received your credit card statement after your withdrawal ? they might bill you the charges while sending you the statement.

Yes, that is called Card to Card transfer. But you need a system to do that. You can't send cash directly from a card / account to another card. Paypal act as that system.

Paypal is not the only system. HDFC (net banking and ATM), ICICI, SBI, Corporation and lot of banks allow that. I mean account to card transfer or card to card transfer. But all these banks allow transfer to an Indian card only. So international transfer is not possible with these banks.

    Hope I didn't confuse you more ;)

    Thanks.

But the unfortunate part is I tried 4 different VISA International Debit Cards (AXIS,ICICI,HSBC & Standard Chartered)to add but all of them have been denied by Paypal.I do not have VISA Credit Card so there is no other option left for me to withdraw other than Bank Transfer.

its just their fault... Add any credit card ,,, name is not problem... just card number , cvv and expiry should be right ..
they will transfer the fund to that card.

    I still have one doubt:

Does it show you amount in Rupees when you try to withhdraw from a CC? As whenever i try to withdraw then it converts it into rupees, deducts Rs.200 from that amount and wants me to confirm sending the rest of the payment(in Rupees).
