Hello everyone, I have an AutoCAD blog that I have been running for only about a month. www.walkerautocad.com I don't get much traffics, no ad revenue and no one ever leaves comments. Could my $0 of revenue be to my ad placement? Although, the last few days I have been starting to get people coming to my site through keywords searched through google. I know it can take a while for a site to be successful and to start getting some visitors and I am being as patient as possible and updating and makreting as often as I can. I just wanted you guys to check it out and maybe give me some advice. Thanks for your time
absolutely. ad placement is everything. check out http://www.nexussupestore.com. ad placement there is ridiculous, but i hear makes a few bucks now and then.
The template you are using makes your blog look generic, you should get a professional template for your blog.
Yeah, I also noticed that today, I am going to get my friend who is a good designer to make me a new banner.
Hello, colleague. I find the site as a site of value. To some extent I'm working in the same region. Generally, the layout is OK. It will take some time for your site to become more known. I think you should establish contacts with the agents which are selling AutoCAD, so that you'll enable the visitors to buy this package. Shlomo Katzav
yea. rite! Give your blog a more professional look.. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites like digg, etc to get some traffic.
Thanks for the advice guys, I am going to get a new theme or at least a new banner because I can see how it could be a turn-off to visitors and lower my conversion rates.
I think the problem is traffic. You've got to offer something unique and engaging about AutoCad that other sites dont. Study your competition and see what the big guys are talking about then improve upon it in your posts. Good luck. ~Cake
