SEO Contest.... My entry was de-indexed

I need your help guys. I joined in SEO contest I was top #1 for 2 days but when I checked my entry today it was de-indexed. I cannot even see it in top 100.

What is the possible cause of that? I been doing link building to day.

Is it possible to #1 again??

Please help me guys...

 

You should get on the webmasters question board of google to see why you were deindexed first.

 

what do you mean? I will ask google on what happen?

 

How old is the site? Its normal for ranking to float for several months.

Are you posting new content daily? Google might see your site as a parked domain.

What kind of diversity in the keywords are you using? Do your back links all contain the same keyword?

Have you set up a google webmaster tools account?

There are so many factors that deal with "where" your site ranks, its going to be difficult to give an answer with the information you have given.

 

do some research use the site command, to see what is indexed, as kev suggest join webmaster tool, you will need to verify your site, i have never seen a penalty for not updating content, many websites lay stagnant for years without web updates

if you include your site we may be able to see check some items if it has simply been lowered in ranking

 

Are you 100% sure you weren't using any blackhat SEO tricks? Google bots can detect blackhat SEO techniques even if they were done accidentally and remove you from the index.

 

Thanks you guys, but guess I knew the reason... I repeated the main keyword many times in the article[4-6 times i guess].. Now I learned.

I already sent "Request reconsideration" via google webmaster. If my entry still de-indexed in few days I guess, I have to add new entry

Its not really a "penalty". I have a couple of wordpress sites that if I do not post content on a regular basis, they start slipping in the results pages.

As long as I post content on a semi-regular basis, the sites hold a good ranking.

 

@kev... thx for clarification, totally agree with you... you also make a great point that blogging is on a consistent basis....

 

All entry is only a blogpost not a blog...

I cannot update my entry everytime coz it was just a blogpost. I guess someone report it to google for having 4-6 keywords same as the title

 

How is putting the same keyword 6 times a penalty. Was it a link or just keywords. Now linking I think is a def penalty

 

Check if you have done any unethical technique / method, if yes, delete / remove it immediately. And, then check it again when it indexed.
