Are you promoting Public Records, Reverse Phone Lookups, People Search, Gov Records?

There is a ***load of various vendors on Clickbank in this niche.

I would like to know if someone tested the various vendors on clickbank. Please share your experiences, refund rates, conversions etc....which one worked best for you?

I am talking about the following niches:

State records, birth records, death records, marriage records, public records, reverse phone lookup

all those.

I built a bunch of sites yesterday, but now i am not so sure anymore whether i got the best vendor/landing pages. PM is fine

Reverse phone search is the most popular and yes I got good conversions.

And amazingly enough, my landings pages, about 5 all linked together, have recently 6 months later started to rank in the SEs. This was never my intention and I'm surprised. But I'm getting a few extra surprise sales lately.

So I advise you to create pages for each keyword and just make them a little different to each other, just a little.

 

I really saw massive potential in this niche but it never really converted like I thought it should - you've inspired me to try this realm again.

OK let me give you some advice 3amart.

First of all there are a lot of long tail variations of "reverse phone search".

But also there are a ton of keywords and angles that most people don't think of. You gotta brainstorm why people want to do a search.

As an example, a lot of women don't trust their men and think they are cheating. So write an article about how a woman can find out if a man is cheating on her. There are tons of keywords for this. Tell the woman how to get the cellphone when the man is in the shower and write down all the numbers from the call log.

Then use your affiliate link to buy a membership and find out who the unrecognised numbers belong to

no problem, do a base keyword search for "cheating". You'll find a ton of keywords.

 

I was recently considering to promote Reverse Phone Detective, which is one of the most popular and stable products on Clickbank, but the payout is less than $20.....Could be better, couldn't it?

Maybe this will be compensated by higher conversions, who knows? I haven't bothered with any other similar products.

 

there is a 10 dollar payout and a 30 dollar payout, true the average is 20, but for me most of the sales are the 30 dollar ones.

I think reverse phone can be done at FREE of cost by looking at online directories. Isn't it? Then why do the customers sign up this service?

 

I made my living from 2000-2005 promoting these type of products. Was spending a lot of money on ppc to
promote them. However, ppc costs became way too expensive and was no longer able to make much profit
after 2005. Haven't been able to find another niche that converts as well as this one did. Was good while it
lasted.

I always wondered where they get their databases from. There's one publisher that produces a lot of these sites, all based around public records databases. Anyone have any idea how/where they get them?

LOTS of search volume, and Keywords, keywords up the ***

All vendors on CB i checked offer actually complete landing pages, some simpler ones, the one i got right now very GOOD landing pages w/ articles and more.

The negative thing: Payouts are NOT that high, and the math doesnt add if i need 70-100 clicks to get a sale.

So...i wonder whether to throw those Ads in content network to get cheaper clicks, or just get organic traffic coming.

All/Most of those vendors have EXCELLENT affiliate material, i was very surprised. Not only complete landing pages and sites, but also excel lists with keywords and so forth.

I was totally overlooking this niche, but i am surprised on the high volume/clicks i get....i just need to fine-tune and get the best vendor with the best service to avoid refunds. Some say some vendors are better than others.

i have INSANE CTR in this niche, i have never seen something like it before, i am w/ AdWords and Clickbank for a long time already.
I dont tell you the EXACT KW, buts nothing special and my Ad is nothing special either!

But i have 57% (!!!!!!!!!!) CTR on one of my KW and the others 23% and 19%, i have never seen such a CTR in my life on adwords...

In Addition, People clicking on those Ads like MAD....i can fire away 100s of EURO in an hour, i am not even kidding. Once the first update after midnight comes in from adwords, my budget is already up!!

I have to track this because this is just insane...

 

Is there much PPC competition from others for your keyword?

 

i am right in the middle for KW, have not checked competition.

HOWEVER..the current bid is TOO HIGH for me in relation to the conversion/payouts.

So..this really has to go into content network. As said, you can fire off 100s of $ in an hour or less. I am just amazed at the CTR..there is a HUGE demand in that niche, its a particular sub-niche, but in the same area as the ones i listed.

Furthermore, i think many click and think its a free service. Which is bad.

They payouts are so low with an avg. conversion rate as most CB products, like 70-100 clicks/sale..so this REALLY only calculates if you get supercheap clicks or organic traffic, say clicks < $0.08 or something.
