Yup these punks have now jumped on the no follow band wagon! Well all I can say is that I am not contributing any more content to that site. Bummer! here is the little blurb from You Bundle on the matter http://youbundle.com/wordpress/follow-no-follow-no-follow-follow/02/24/2009/
This happens all the time...think about it from the website's perspective...they allow do follow in the beginning to encourage people to submit content and spread the word, and then once they've got enough, they go no follow to stop linking juice and horde it all themselves. You have to expect this, which is why it's not a good idea to invest too much time building links from any one site.
well, it apprears that they are following the same policy of hubpages somewhat. for hubpages, it is nofollow but if your hubscore is 75+, then the hub turns to dofollow. same with youbundle where if your bundle is HOT and listed on the front page, it is dofollow
I've got no patience for sites that rely on crowd-sourced content but refuse to follow links... Forget these hubs, aggregators, & republishers... always put your best content on your own domains.
youbundle.com only has 9300 pages indexed and only 4500 incoming links! It is pretty funny that they are worried about outgoing link juice when they don't have much to start with. They should worry more about building links to their own site.
That's ridiculous. At least with Hubpages, you can get a 'permanent' dofollow hub if you have a quality article and occasionally babysit it. Getting listed on the front page of Youbundle is a one-time event, who the hell cares about getting a dofollow link that only lasts like 24 hours?
Thats wrong I just spot checked and it seems that any bundle that has ever been on the front page is permanently followed. Like look at this wordpress plugin bundle which I guess was on the Front page at least a few months ago It seems to be followed as do anything in the /hot category which seems to drill down indefinitely. And judging by the bundles that make it to the hot page, I see lots of IM stuff there and it doesnt seem that hard to get a Follow. Just create a decent looking resource that links to a few sites that are not obviously feeding your money page and you should be fine.
