as above i have worked out... that i have $100 to start with and i can put 3 hours a day into whatever i need to make more money, and 5 hours at weekends! Can any of you marketing guru's tell me how i can use this time and money to make more? im looking to make around $400 a month and i will be very happy with that, if i can make more i will be extremly happy... A little about me... im a writer in my spare time but dont normally charge so i dont make much from it... i live in the UK and have done all my life, i enjoy useing the internet and hate my daytime job. Well my friend, there's no easy way to make money online on the internet. Whatever you do, just make sure you do not become a victim of work at home scam. You will loose the money as well frustration will be a added bonus. As you mentioned you are writer, why don't you have your very own articles website or blog. You can earn revenues from the google adsense and then at the same time do paid writing also. If you visit the business board, you will find many people need writers for various purposes. Most important, when you get a order to write something, take the entire money in advance and also tell the work duration. If in doubt, consult the member of DP or you may even contact me.
thanks for your reply, i know it's not going to be easy but i can work extremly hard to acheive my goals! im falling behind in this day and age with money because of all this credit crunhc and just need this $400 a month to keep on top of my bills etc!. so any idea's where to invest will be great!
Look friend, I would not like to misguide you. I lost lot of money in this business and so I advise everyone to invest the money very carefully when it comes to online business. There are lot of opportunities and everyone is looking to make money, even me, but things have just become difficult than earlier. All that I say is to explore your skill and do a specialization on it. There's no easy way to make money online and those who say that they can help you make money online are redirecting you to work at home scam. Instead preserve the money which you already have with you. Remember, once you have spend the money online, its gone, you are not going to get it back. So friend, make no hurry. Just sit down and think with a cool mind before you do anything.
IF you can do , web designing you might earn $1000 per month , if you dont have such Internet skills then try to earn some bucks from Content creation services.
Gave this some more thought for ya - why not just do the work offline? A few hours here or there somewhere as a part-time job will add up to what you're looking for, and probably be much easier too.

Friend, this one is a bit long, so take time to read it. If you can read, you can just do anything. The problem is that there is competition everywhere. 10 yrs back and today, the face of the internet has entirely changed. As regards to starting a affiliate website. Just ask yourself a question. Would you join a affiliate website which you have never heard before. Did you know that everyday a new affiliate site opens and most of them turn out to be scams. They never pay the publishers. Again a advice, don't get double minded. Don't try to bring any other thoughts in your mind. You will just confuse yourself and the outcome will be nothing but more frustration. Just imagine, I have so much knowledge that I can start almost any website. Dating, jobs, classifieds, auctions etc... You just name it and I will have it up and running in just few hours. But why I am not doing that when I can very well do it? In fact I had all these site but I had closed them all and I am now focusing on providing complete web solutions. There is no point in starting a website which cannot be promoted or marketed properly. In these 5 years, I did all sort of experimenting, played with different scripts and ended up with nothing. So learning from my experience, today my entire focus is on offering web solutions like domain names, hosting, email, ecommerce solutions etc... Apart from that, I also need to provide support to my customers. Every customer is not experienced. They need help setting up the services, managing it. So I assist them using phone, live chat and even remote desktop assistance. And I do it myself. I have no staff. My logic is that I always go beyond the limits when it comes to providing support. Even if don't know anything, I do a search, try to find out the solution and pass it on to the customer. Besides, I take every customers issue as if they were mine and treat them accordingly. Today, I have only 10 customers, but they are satisfied with my support. I did not like to mention, but they give 5 out 5 ratings for my support. I have been a active member of DP since 3-4 days and I spent most of the time here. The reason is that I do not want other members and newcomers to go through what I have been. I try to provide as much help as I can. Like you, there is another member who wants to do something but he was not able to decided. Finally after exchanging posts, he decided that he could do logo designing. I am also trying to help him out. So friend, don't confuse yourself. In my opinion, do what you are currently doing and then think that what best skill you have inside you. You may have a knowledge on some particular field or right from you childhood, what it was that you were most interested in? Try to find out. I still guess you are a writer. But on what niche or subject or topic. Just let me know the needful and I will further try to help you setup a website which will help you make the most of it. And finally, nothing is going to change overnight, so don't loose hopes and keep patience.

I am not getting you. You want to buy a vB license? The cost of the license is $180. Are you confident that after investing $180, you will get the returns? I suggest you try a free forum, see the response and then purchase the vB. I think you will be able to migrate the data with the help of migration utility. Whatsoever, think twice before you invest any money.
^ What he said. vBulletin does support migrating of some board databases. You can find more info on that on their community forums. Making money through a forum is much harder work (initially or unless you get super lucky in a niche market) than other ways.
