Blunder In Orkut

    On my orkut homepage this is how my male friend's updates are being shown:D

    And yes my friend has his sex as male only in his profile:D

    oMG!! the same happens to me,,, i am male and it shows me as female as shown above!! can anyone find a solution to this problem?

    Or may be the members have not updated their profile correctly?

    On orkut, I have often seen that male members often use photos of females to attract other members to their profile and some have even create fictitious profiles to create contacts with female members. They communicate with them as if they are females and try to initiate relationships with them.

    It is a common programming error. THe programmer must have written "her" next to the pointer pointing to the salutation representing a male. Worse would be that the programmer din actually know that a male was referred to as "her"! I think Google will take care of it after they come across it
