So if I was getting $.50-3.50 a click in AdSense, how much do you think AdBrite would give?

AdBrite is better for CPM ads IMHO, my forum receives thousands of views but little clicks.

I had opened an account for advertisng using but I never did used the PPC for my sites. With ecpm going down by the day adsense I guess will run some test.

Adbrite I believe is not contextual, right? and hence can be used along adsense?

Adbrite offers tons of ads, however they are 95% shady ads with casino, blinking stuff etc. Nothing for serious webpages that need serious visitors AND serious ads

Adbrite pays much higher than Adsense but has a lower click through rate.

    well the problem is
we must have a well known website on adbrite to gain the promoters competitions
thats the thing you have there ;)
    also that's true
adsense is not good for entertainment etc websites
    congrats

AdBrite doesn't work like that. The ads aren't truly contextual like AdSense's, so it's the luck of the draw whether you get higher paying or lower paying ads (of course you can filter them and weed out the lower paying ones).

The best click I ever got was $1. Clicks around 50 cent mark aren't that uncommon, but most clicks fall in the 5-20 cent range.

Never felt that. I felt Adsense pays more. Well when you get more traffic you get high cpc clicks. I used to get $2 cpc, now about $0.05 to $0.01 cpc.

Not really that great. But MUCH better than adbrite...

I kind of agree with you, thought AdSense pays much more per click on a specific site niche.
