Just spoke with the guys at PayPal and even they have no liability once the transfer is completed from their side. It is the 3rd party payment processors and the BANK to a certain extent for the clearing of the funds.
Yes I agree. They are not responsible once funds are transferred from their side but they are only the responsible to check whether the person to whom they have send money got the money OR not. M I Right? Btwn. I've made another transfer today. Let's see what happens with this..

The 1st of March was a Sunday. If you withdrew on 2nd of March, chances are that it was the 1st of March in USA (check out the time difference). Today is the 3rd of March!
Not Sure buddy, just requested another withdrawal today to check if everything is fine now, will update you on the same. Though I am still waiting for 2 transactions done on 19th feb.
One important lesson to be learnt from all this mess up for withdrawal dtd. 19th and 20th.... Refrain for requesting the withdrawal around the Bank Holiday/strike time! Regards, RightMan
Just spent 10 mins on call with a lady from PayPal and she says that all the funds are sitting in the Indian reserve and it is resposibility of the RBI to transfer/regulate money transfer to Indian Banks, so basically nothing can be done from PayPal's side is what I am told I know it is really frustrating and I am really screwed.
I made two withdrawls to axis bank from paypal. first on 20th and 2nd on 21st. I got the payment of 21st in my bank account but still I did not get 20th feb payment. I spoke to bank people and they were asking for transaction id. later I spoke with paypal and they told me to fax the latest bank statement and fax it to them for tracking. they will start the tracking procedure after 14 days. its definete that something went wrong on 19 th and 20 th. got the 21st feb payment on 24th in my bank account. but still waiting for 20th feb payment to arrive. I have faxed the details to paypal. I will update you all when I receive some response.
I have withdrawn an amount of 65,000+ from paypal to my HDFC bank on Feb 25th 2009. I have not yet received the money , I hope that it will get credited
Today i made a complaint to HDFC Bank Customer care regarding this.. Let me see What will happen.. I am still in panic on my first paypal to Bank transaction... Every one is clear that there is no Problem with paypal..

In fact of my huge amount stuck on the 19th and 20th Feb, I withdrew amounts on 28th Feb and 2nd Mar nothing has happened still for me, so guys i feel its risky to make any withdrawal for now, take care...

Well It happens Many time .. i have been watching this problem since 1 year ,.. all time at the Month END & 1st 2-3 days of starting month ... I have friend working in PAYPAL Chennai office , they said its happens due to PayPal Runs Out of Fund for Month end ,.. SO THAT DELAY in Processing Fund,Thought NEFT,, But it will come .. NO a Issue .
