You need to send your site newsletters to job seeker email addresses. You will get these addresses from any job portals like moster.com, careerbuilder.com, jobs.net etc
Hello Rock, Thanks for you suggestion brother, but let me clear you that i have everything, email marketing, regular calling to the desired candidates by searching there contact no. and email id from monster.com & job portals but still i want to try something new, what other seo guys don't do. Hmmm being SEO yourself. All I think is if you need a targeted audience and want a first place then you should consider updating your portal regularly with fresh jobs. Get some traffic first. You wont get the first position just in some days. Try to produce some content first.
Hi, Friend have you tried out any of t he off-page services...I mean services like directory submissions, social bookmarking, article submissions and blog commenting which helps in link building... these links are very efficacious in promoting the site and also traffic too increases... I suggest you to try out some of these services which will really give a boost to your site and thus good traffic... regards sripat
I am a little gob smacked that if you have been in seo for 2 yrs and are doing everything but you do you not know about traffic generation techniques... an easy traffic generation is using adwords until your site starts to rank, I am guessing the cmpetition for job keywords is very high so you need alternate techniques, join forums associated with the job market and recruitment. build your credibility in the social network and you will start to get traffic. find blogs about jobs and recruitment, better yet, create a blog about recruitment, finding a job in the GFC, promote that blog on different sites which have a high authority in technorati
AS you are so much known with the SEO thus you must go on with the SEO ways and also do something like adding contents to wikipedia..add new videos to video submission sites with the link in the video...this will get you more and more traffic... to get onto the top page of google you must either try to get some .edu or .gov links and use generic keywords for promoting website...

I will suggest to promote your Job portal at communities' site and start a campaign in Google Adwords which will generate more traffic.
I've done many career based websites that have turned up number 1. Get your site onto a few University or Colleges career links pages - they all have something like this - just ask politely. Most official academic institutions are highly respected by Google and you associating with them gives you great recognition. Do this with a few community based employment centres and a few universities and colleges and you'll be fine in Google within a few months.
