It's the proportion of your text that is made up your keyword. You want to have your keyword on a page often enough and prominently enough so that it's clear to both search engines and visitors that it's what the page is about, but not repeated so often that it looks spammy, and is likely to get flagged and penalised as spam by search engines.
hello dear i am trying to actual means of Keyword density:- Keyword density is the measurement in percentage, the number of times a keyword or phrase appears compared to the total number of words in a page.
Keyword density is as Shaun above said, and its important to not go above 5 percent because google will assume you are spaming
the definitions above are all accurate. If you want to check your keyword density on a page, SEOBook.com has a good keyword density tool. http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword-density/
Keyword density refers to the number of times a particular keyword in proportion with other words, appears on a page. If seen from the perspective of Search Engine Optimization, Keyword density may be used as an agent in finding out whether a particular web page is pertinent to a specific key-phrase or not. Due to the convenience of handling keyword density, search engines generally employ other measures of pertinency to forbid unprincipled web masters from building search spam through practices like keyword stuffing. The greater times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of words, the more is the keyword density. If a particular keyword appears twice in a page of hundred words, it possesses a lower keyword density in comparison to a keyword that appears four times on a similar length page. If you want to increase your website’s placement in the SERP (Search Engine Results Page). All you have to do is to work on your page’s keyword density. If a specific key-phrase has a greater density in a web page, the page has a higher chance of getting a higher search engine ranking.
Keyword density is the percentage of your keywords in your content. Suppose your major keyword is personal loans and you are using this keyword 10 times in your 500 word content then keyword density is 10/500 * 100 = 2 % is your keyword density....
basically it is the ratio of your keywords to the amount of words on your page. if you have 200 words and your keyword shows up 5 times it would be 5/200 or 2.5%.
No. of times your keyword phrase occurs, in a given piece of text. By the way you have more than 3000 posts and you dont know about keyword density? Hard to believe, and I feel you are just starting a topic for the sake of doing it
Even though there is a certain amount of 5 per cent to be safe, but I rather keep lower than 3 per cent
