No, it is that John owns two sites and links one to another. It's basically linking to yourself... and it is definitely not 0%

I've seen these percentages before. If Google's algo was so easy, it would be a piece of cake to crack it

He thinks that Google will log into this forum and correct this info for us :D LOL

Remember that leeks are good for your health

Ah.. remember the 'glory days' of 2003, 2004, when you could just keep stuffing keywords in there until you ranked...

I cannot believe on-page optimization having 50% share. I think it must be off-page optimization

Those were the days of our lives [sings]

It is more or less correct. Let me put it this way: what is the only factor in SEO that nobody else has the control to manipulate apart from the webmaster? It is on-page optimization. Here you are, hence it is the main factor...

I have to disagree with you mr. sultan,I have developed SEVERAL long tailed keyword domains and only have ON PAGE OPTIMIZATION and I am happy to say that within a matter of days I was on the first page of google AND in the top 5.

yes, with obscure terms for sure. no competitive search term which gets decent traffic will get you ranked only with onpage optimization.

No one In the world knows googles algorithm. A few selected employees know some part of it and probably they'll never meet each other.

I choose not to believe and to work as usual: unique content + related and relevant links.
