When is the best time to add Adsense to a new site?

    Hello!

maybe someone can help me with this question : when is the best time to add Adsense to a brand new site? Is it a good idea to have Adsense ads right away or is it better to wait until the site is indexed, or has been around for a longer period of time ( how long?) or has more content?
    Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Robert

I don't put any adverts on my websites until it has a pagerank of 3, that way their is more space for making affiliates. People are "put off" by adverts some times.

I see it as most businesses make a loss in their first 3 years, so the first year of a website can be add free for better user experience and to build affiliates.

why would you guys advise someone to wait that long, I don't understand the logic behind it. You can put adsense on the moment your site is up, it will not give you any negative remarks in Google's eyes. I put up adsense on my blogs the moment I build them, and they all get indexed in about 4 days...and have not had any issues with any of them. Most are already getting clicks by the first week or so. It really depends on when you want to start getting money from your sites.

I suppose we want to make money asap!

If having Adsense right away does not hurt us with Google, why not have it right away?

After 100 uniques a day is probably the best time to do it.

I never understood this whole thing of wait to put Adsense on your site. Why? Unless you are building the site for a specific affiliate or other advertiser. In that case it might hurt you because affiliate managers and advertisers don't like the Adsense competing for space and attention. But if you are building the site specifically for Adsense, throw it on there day 1. Unless someone tells me a reason why this will hurt you, then this is what I believe.

If you wait, people might be angry at you later for putting up the ads. Better to get them out of the way first :)

Put them up but don't overdo them without having enough content. Nobody will stay on a page filled with ads and without content. The ratio content/ads should should be in equilibrium.

Having ads is not a scandal and webmasters will continue linking too you, just DON'T OVER DO!!

When I make blogs or finished sites, I put ads right away. Then I promote it so I can earn more money, keep in mind, traffic means profit. Even a small number of visitors can generate earnings, so put your ads right away.

I will suggest to input adsense once you feel that your content is sufficient enough to get the attention from the visitor

This should be the best tip here. But please allow me to explain it further.

In my point of view, it is better not to put Google Adsense on a new blog. This is because new blogs are assumed not to have sufficient search engine traffic yet. We must remember that if somebody is looking for something to buy, he will search it at Google and not on blogs.

Therefore, if your visitors are from social traffic (online friends, social sites, etc.) then Google Adsense might suspect that you are inviting them to click your ads, even if you do not. Eventually, your account may be banned.

Social visitors most likely do not click ads and in fact, they hate them. They just love to read, leave comments, and follow blogs. I don't think bloggers click other bloggers ads. And if they do, I doubt if they are purchasing the product being advertised.

This is why it is better to add more original and useful contents and of course, with well optimized keywords and backlinks. This is the best way to be on top of search engines.

Incidentally, here is a post that supports my claim - Why Mostly New Bloggers are Being Banned from Google Adsense

    Hope that helps.

In my experience it depends on the niche of the site etc. If you're going to have single visit visitors, then straight away, but if you want a community then give it some time and creep them in. If you're in a niche with a lot of competition then it may be an idea to delay ads, but if your niche is very small or you face less rivals then use them as soon as. Ultimately it's up to you, but take a lot into consideration such as traffic, niche, PR etc
