These are the stats and current host is complaining.

What is a good host for hosting busy sites?

I get about 700 to 3000 unique visitors a day.

Any host that hosts busy sites?

    Hello,

What kind of site is it? What do those 2 files exactly do that makes them take so much CPU?
I am able to host resource-intensive sites, but in a case-by-case basis. That's why I'm asking you this.

    Best regards!

Have you considered a VPS to handle your busy website? Ensuring you top resources instead of relying on shared hosting with loads of restrictions?

Yes, VPS is a very good option. Shared hosting is not a good option for such busy website.

    Hello,

I personally don't consider ~3000 daily unique visitors as huge traffic, moreover having seen the kind of site it is.
The script his site uses seems to be buggy and is highly vulnerable.

    Best regards.

how many cores does their server have? those stats look like they are from the "Today's CPU Usage" area - and that talks about the daily averages, it could be that you had spikes followed by quiet times.

3000 Daily uniqes is alot for shared enviorements, if you host a forum or something then the load can easily go up!

More importantly, then the Uniqes doesn't have to much to say, it's the total visits daily that matters! If he recieves 3000 uniqes that during one day browes trough the forum 100 times then you easily have 300,000 visits and requests towards the server per day.

He PM'd me the site this is for, so I know what kind of traffic it gets. It's not a forum nor anything regarding a members area.
Also, I stated that the script his site uses seems to be both buggy and highly vulnerable, so I'm not conjecturing.
That said, I agree with you regarding what you said on forums and the importance of the pages-per-visit relation.

P.S.: C'lown, I've got nothing against you. Please stop it; it's getting unbearable.

    Hello,

Sorry, but he PM'd it to me so I understand I should not publicly release the details regarding this matter.
It was a custom coded one.

if the script is indeed badly coded and buggy, you could just get that fixed and save some money on the hosting, cuz either way your site will probably lag on the vps too if it is causing a lot of lag on this current one - shared servers usually have a lot more power and strength than VPS.
