Hey all, Is there any way i can get rid of the cheap ads from my site? I got like certain ads that give me 1-2 cents per click, and those are pretty sad lol.

    thanks

    impossible

The ads are based on your sites niche. So if you have higher niche you will also have higher paying ads.

If you know the certain ads, filter them using the competitive ad filter in your Adsense Control Panel

Unfortunately with only 200 spots it's sometimes best to go after the ones that are actually appearing on your site and causing problems rather than a random 200 that may never be an issue.

Theres a feature called Competitive ads Filter. You can use that to block unwanted ads.
Now, the problem is to find out the low paying ads.

I do pretty well at that by visiting the advertisers (again, not by clicking the ad but by the accepted means) It's gotten to be fairly easy to tell the ones that will probably be low-paying. Either they have ad-copy that doesn't match the site, or the site is a scraper-MFA etc.

You can't choose your advertisers but you can block the MFA's and low paying sites using the Competitive Ad Filter feature in your Adsense account.

better low earnings than no earnings at all. if you have low paying niche then that's what you get.

It's usually easy to spot those low paying bastards. They're usually .info domains, search engines with nothing but a search box when you visit them, cell phone ringtone sites and big companies well known for paying off nothing, such as eBay, Amazon and others who have those "wildcard" ads that pull search queries into the title.

I am using this Adsense blacklist to filter out the low-paying ads. Seems to be working so far. Try using this list.
