Off late the forum is full of complaints relating to Paypal's delay in crediting withdrawals to Bank accounts. The same problem I am also facing as its 14 days now that I have given a withdrawal request and for the 1st time in 2years that so much delay is taking place for my account getting credited.Few issues which comes to my mind: 1) Is Paypal delaying because if we get credit to our Bank we will get a better transaction rate dollar being stronger? So they do not want their customers to earn more? 2)Is Paypal using our Dollars and investing in other business investing for a longer period? 3)Is there any chance at all we not getting our money?I doubt this because Paypal being a company of repute will not do this. 4)By saying that the fund has come back from our savings account and charging us 250/- each time are they accumulating revenues? Can they stoop down to this level? 5)What is the mode they use transferring funds to our savings account? Is it wire transfer or electronic transfer? 6)If not Paypal what other alternatives we have in getting money from our internet business transactions?Say by using Xoom or any other alternative?
Hopefully they are not cheating as they have done this in past too (but this delay is longest so far) but their service has gone from Worst to Non- Existent now days
Totally disagree with you ! I've received ~ 10 withdrawals in the past 2 weeks, and each of them took 4 days or less ! The best part is that I'm not from US/UK or any similar big countries - I'm far enough, and still my payments come very fast. If you have problems - just call them .. Why to wait for an answer for weeks via email if you can simply pick up your phone and talk to them ?
Can call them but it takes minimum 10 mins to connect them. Which further cost more $$$ and then you find that , call getting disconnected automatically.
i thought i was the only one!!! I was about to visit the forum and open a thread myself for the longest withdrawal delay ever.... I am really pissed.. I have to loan money from my friend to pay my phone bill yesterday . BTW, i also wanna know whether paypal is doing wire transfer or electronic transfer.
I read in a post here where a board member had contacted a friend in paypal and he was told that paypal had already transferred money and the delay was due to RBI holding up money in its reserve! This can be true if this delay is faced only by the people from India. Is anybody else facing this delay problem of 19th and 20th? Regards, RightMan
BTW what is Current Scenario Indian paypal account holders getting funds regularly in their indian bank account currently (not talking about Feb. 19 to 25th problem) ? Really worried after hearing so many statements DON.
paypal themselves dont cheat but people do abuse using their system to scam/cheat other. so paypal got no choice but set some rules to protect themselves and some trusted customers.
RBI has not received any funds from Paypal's citibank account during the period of delay. I have already confirmed with RBI Mumbai NEFT Clearing Cell yesterday.
Then where is our money..??? money is not with RBI and paypal saying that they have completed their process.. I think our money is vanished some where else like magic rabbit in the hut. How can we clime our money. ?????
I think they are not cheating on me.. probably on you LOL ... I have never tried that on paypal.. whenever I withdraw my money on paypal it only takes 5-7 days
Oops...if that is the case...where is the money lying? Are we people a tennis ball with paypal and RBI hitting us to and fro !!
I've withdrawn money more than 100 times through paypal and have never faced a problem before. This problem has more to do with the Indian end
My Friend, We have withdrawn 100 times in the last 2 years. So what? When so many of us are complaining about the delay then there should be something genuine cause behind it.Isn't it?Calling up Paypal and keeping us hold for 10mins over ISD who is going to pay the telephone bills? And also Paypal representative over phone isn't that efficient. He wants all faxed documnets of bank statement etc when I am saying I can send him as an email attachment.Who is going to pay the FAX Charges?Paypal? And if Fax copy is accepted why not email copy with bank statement as attachment.Isn't it more genuine?
It is big problem with Indian banks only because here most of the issues are related to Indian banks. I had also transferred money to my ICICI banks at 25th February but still I have not received. The problem is 1st time with me also.
When you opt in for the fax option, a special fax cover is generated, which contains a bar code unique to you. This helps them to process your complaints faster.
BUT,before you fail complaint to them ,make sure you already good searching on your own about your question,my comment is paypal never cheating us.it help us alot, there is not our business to know where they bring our money, belief me as ,respectful company they wont use our money to something harm, trust me,only with "honest"more power they got,and from there more profit they made, and for my statement here,.asked paypal, they certainly agree about me here.definitely
