Hey everyone, So we all know that clickbank has tracking problems, but when it is ever going to end ?!? I like Clickbank, I really do & I think it has a lot of potential to remain the #1 aff network, but once again, tracking for my account is completely messed up. One week I make one sale/50 hops(give or take a few). & this week I'm making one sale/600 hops!! What a joke?! My traffic is laser targeted & it's a $4.95 trial offer product so conversions should be through the roof. This is so annoying, is anyone else having this problem?? Enough is enough cb, get it right.
Had 3 record breaking days in a row. Then just a hundred dollars in sales. I have had products that convert for months at 1:25 1:40, then they go cold for a couple days and then they come back. I just keep working.
CB's sales tracking is like a child turning a tap on and off at its own whims and fancy. You can't live with the child. You can't live without the child.
I'm glad to hear about your record days congratulations! My apologies for being negative I'm just frustrated. I just keep working as well, it's the only solution. But when you get 3,000 hops in a week & only 5 sales, there's a problem.
It might be your traffic? Look, I don't mean to get at you personally, but we have to get real about this whole tracking thing. In order to provide conclusive proof that something is amiss: * Any less than 1,000 hops is simply not valid. In order for variance to flatten out, you need decent levels of traffic. Complaining that you got a sale in your first 20 hops, and then nothing for 200 is NOT an indicator of any problem at all. You simply haven't had enough traffic to flatten out any variance in quality of traffic, time of day, time of the week, time of the month, time of year, seasonality, publisher changes to his page and offer, and so on. * You must have ESTABLISHED history with a product. It's no good to say that you've only just started promoting a product, and it's not converting in 3,000 hops. Maybe it's just not a very good offer? On the other hand, if you've had $100+ EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 3 weeks with that product, and now you've gone a week without any sales, AND you've tried purchasing through the site and it all works OK (ie, the publisher hasn't changed his site and broken the payment links), then maybe you have a problem. I'm fed up of people seeing one or two bad days and leaping to the conclusion that ClickBank is stealing from them. Let's see some REAL data people. REAL data that absolutely proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that something is going wrong. Oh, and I'm 100% sure that if anyone can actually produce that, ClickBank will start taking it seriously. But if you could, then they'd probably have noticed already because as a multi-million dollar company that's paid out over $1,000,000 in commissions, I'm sure they have a variety of automated systems watching their payment processing like a hawk.
Ahhhh -- that familiar smell of Clickbank defenders coming out the woodwork! Mixed in with a whiff of reality - and the very authentic, legitimate concerns that the original poster shared with us here. Dan
This is a MUST read for everyone who thinks clickbank is responsible for their lack of sales. Rep given EDIT: ah sorry, can't give you rep because it says I have to spread more rep before giving it to you... Eh...
I'm just bored of all this speculation. If anyone's got conclusive proof, let's see it. Better yet, take it directly to ClickBank and post a log of all interactions you have with them. If they really are having trouble, I'm all for coming together as a community to help them sort it out. This is the same argument that we have with poker players who insist that their favourite network is rigged, but can't provide any statistical evidence to back up their conspiracy theories. So far, all I've seen is anecdotal band wagon jumpers. If you can do better Dan, I'm all ears. @JoseArmando - thanks.
i think one good way of checking is cb-analytics ... if the total gravity on there dives sharply, as it has done a couple of times, then that is a good indicator of a problem ... but right now it's up and up ... i too am going through my worst dry spell since i started ... but i also know that prior to this i was converting way above the odds ... so yeah ... everything evens out ...
