Nice program I guess, for what it is...

Just playing around with it really.

Tried to get to grips with Terragen 2 but didn't really like it.

the problem with Terragen is that once you build the place, you wish you could go there

There are some AMAZING terragenned landscapes at deviantart.....or they were amazing at the time - I haven't looked in a couple of years.

 

Some of the artwork that they have up for examples on the Terragen 2 website looks sensational!

Yeah it'd be nice to be able to go there lol

I think you used vue. if not try vue it creates these things instantly and so easily.

I think I used Terragen, I know I used Terragen,

I've never heard of Vue. If it can make them so instatntly and easily I think I'll stick with terragen.

Half the fun is in the figuring it out and then hoping it'll come out good.

Google search it, it's a terrain rendering program, free to install the beta, there is terragen 1 and the updated verison terragen 2. look at the gallery on the terragen 2 site, the stuff there is incredible!!! mine doesn't even begin to compare. I'd recomend terragen 1 first, it's easier to get to grips with if you've never used a program like it before
