    Here's the thing about SEO-- there is TONS of misinformation out there and charlatans at every corner claiming to be "experts." My advice for navigating through this mess is to read everything and then, test, test, test. There's no better way to figure out what's true/false than to test it yourself, and there's no better way to find great tactics to invent them yourself...if there's something out there that's effective and little used, you can bet people aren't going to hand it over to you. You need to find it yourself.
