Hats off to all Pakistani policemen and guards who save Sri Lankan's cricketers life and were killed at the spot .. I feel really bad for the Sri Lankan's team as well but Thank God they are safe just because of the policemen who protected them and gave shelter and nobody is talking about them who lost their lives and if you all know these guys work for really low wages like 5000-10000 rupees ($60 - $120) so is it really worth it?
Hope people will stay calm here and don't react like anything :)
    Thanks
    PHYza

They are not seriously injured and for sure they are safe to play cricket again and Jayasuriya said that he still don't feel bad for this tour even after this all incident happened with him and all his team :)

I am surprised that not a single terrorist was killed while the casualty on the security side was high!

I fail to understand why not a single terrorist could be hit ....especially since the incident took place on a public road and near the stadium. The firing lasted for more than 20 minutes and not a single bullet from the security team could hit them...even though there would be a whole lot of security guards with the team and outside the stadium as well!

Security did not hit the bullets, coz they were all dead at first place, 8 policemen died
All the Sri Lankan players are fine and out of danger now, only 4th Umpire who is pakistani is still in ICU

The Australians won`t tour places where there is a definite risk to life, and Pakistan is on their list of `won`t tour` at the moment. In my view the ICC needs to take a stronger line and suspend tours in Pakistan.

It`s sad that cowards have to target a group of unarmed sportsmen in this way.

Difficult to say, but only a good, stable and responsible government can change the picture.

And when I mean to say that, it means that someone from the public should come forward to form a stable government and give Pakistan a new look.

And they should also do that honestly & sincerely and I am sure Pakistan will become a safer and reputed country in the world.

    Just my thoughts.

I am pained to hear this news. This is an insult to the sport. Pakistan is going deeper into controversies. This incident will do the country no good. Other cricketing nations will think twice before touring Pakistan.
