Looking through my web logs, I find that the search engines break down with google taking almost all of the organic search traffic, then yahoo, then MSN. e.g. Google 1200 Yahoo 60 msn / organic 7 live / organic 6 On sites where I employ 'SEO-style' techniques (trying to manipulate the search engines), Yahoo + MSN SERPs and traffic goes up. But yahoo is still a sixth of the traffic of Google, and MSN is still virtually nothing. Anybody seeing this too? IMO it makes no sense to even bother with MSN.. it is a joke.
I noticed that too. when traffic was low, I actually obtained more of the msn/live traffic than google ones. but google is much improved when traffic picks up.
yeah, there are a lot of people using google... we have same observation...but it's not only an observation it's a fact...
65% of people use Google 25% of people use Yahoo 8% of people use MSN It depends on the keywords you rank for. I get very good Yahoo traffic for some of my sites and virtually none for others. Always build your site with Google in mind. Yahoo and MSN traffic should be and are "bonuses". Also, never base who uses what search engine off of your websites traffic. You'll rarely find accurate results.
I really wish Yahoo and MSN get a bigger share, because Google is getting way too big and they have started doing whatever they like, whenevery they like it. More competition is better for everyone.
Google 90% Yahoo 6% and others 4% is the story I have that is not surprising at all because majority of all the poeple are using Google to find something
Lemme tell you conversion rate i found since last couple of hours in US, i got the highest for MSN...
More than 60% of internet user are using google since google is the best search engine nowaday. My search engine traffic 80% from google and 18% from yahoo, only 2% from others
Google dominates when it comes to search engine traffic, more than 80% of my traffic is google search.
If you are getting 32% of your traffic from Yahoo and MSN then I suspect you are using some of the more search engine manipulating SEO techniques. e.g. hey let's point a whole bunch of links at my site with the same anchor text.
It is a known fact that google has become synonymous with search and most of the people hardly go past it to look for any other alternatives.... No wonder, majority of the members here are heavily focused on PRs and google serps.. Regards, RightMan
My website get traffic from google about 60% ,yahoo 25% others 15% but I like to use yahoo for search more than google.
