Hello I received a leaked information with regards to Google algorithm formulation, just correct if there are some errors with regards to this information, Google ranking Algorithms For Long tail keywords only: link anchor text (15%) Domain authority (15%) In community links (0%) Link diversity (5%) On page optimization (50%) Site age (15%) Please drop your thoughts here...
"in community links" == Social Sites? WTF... This is interesting, however, on some established SEO authority sites i heard more detailled stuff, i think Matt himself said it: New algos in place since february (BIG change).....do NOT use links with same anchor text. Keyword diversity in TEXT...KW can not be too close to title, and KW must be spread "evenly" throughout article....with "related keywords" throughout the article. In other words: They have a new algo which REALLY, REALLY makes sure that the content itself is high quality. Linkbuilding as we know it...if AT ALL, only with various keywords, dont repeat anchors. Branding gets preference, big brands will always rank well, even if their SEO sucks. (Basically a slap in the face for any conventional SEO) And social BM is basically dead. I dont know where your list comes from, but that "in community" 0% makes me think....i think we can say "bye" to DIGG and all those places....i just posted here a few mins ago, i pushed myself OUT of the serps with a keyword i was ranking for MONTHS on page #1. I digged and propellered and i am gone!! G.
aah! google is leaking...soooo funny i can tell you this much that that leaked info you got is nothing but BS cause there is no way google puts 50% weight on onpage optimization. i have seen site ranking for terms that dont even appear on the site
found your source: http://websearchlab.blogspot.com/2008/12/google-algorithm-play-of-numbers.html edit: His numbers are different....
If the info is leaked I don't see how we could correct it! As to the post about bumping yourself out with social bookmarks. If the 0 percent is true it would give you no benefit not a negative. If the negative value was true you could easily bump anyone out of the SERPs.
true, but there were recent screw-ups where sites were removed because they ****ed something up. Who know, maybe its a bug, and instead of having "no" influence they penalize you for bookmarking or being on some social sites. There are recent changes going on, who knows whats screwed up there... I think this deserves further investigation. I can just tell you i will NOT digg my blog entries anymore because this is scary.
It was the latest algo formula according to source... i don't care if it was zero, as long as it can generate traffic, i guess its fine.
I have a question [pardon me because I am new here]: if the algo changes, how drastic are the effects of the changes?
In community links (0%), How can I trust this information. I know lots of site improve on that optimization. Now you don't say it's very current - Community links are the vital so far I know.
That's maybe the reason why this algo formula was made... there's lot of seo company hiring forum spammers to get links.
