I was thinking about creating a mini-site that shows high paying niches. However, I will have posts on how to develop a site based on these high paying niches, and other information on how to get the pages started. I will put ads on my pages, and since the pages will be based on the highest paying keywords the ads will have nice ppc rates. Do you guys think this kind of idea would work, I'm just seeking some consolidation.
Well, it seems like a good idea at first look. If you have good and unique content on all of the "highest paying keywords" that you are talking about, then it sounds like you could have some good traffic after some promotion, as well as good revenue from ads. Good luck on this project.
Well, thanks. I'm trying to think of a URL, and I'm going to start the site out as soon as I can. The good thing about a site like this is I do not have to think of ideas for what to put in my site, I can just look a list of expensive keywords and create articles based on that.

Haha me too, my other sites aren't making much right now because of the niches they are in, and kind of because I don't spend nearly enough time working on promotion them.

Hi, it may be a nice idea, but the first big problem will be to get a great and alot of traffic. Your last post is about mortage, so type mortage in google: 22,200,000 results , that means you will never receive visit about it and no more for hotels and insurance. You will never buy advertising because these high ppc keywords have a too high cpc I dont want demotivate you but i alot of peeps already had this idea and i dont think it's work so much. You should choose only one keyword sentence like Hotel in London, Hotel in New York, Hotel in ..... and add a tones of contents very useful, dont add contents to just have alot of contents - useless contents. It looks like a good idea but wouldn't the traffic be mostly webmasters and people looking for ways to make momye online targeting high paying niches? If so, then the CTR could be very bad.
Yeah, that is one of the problems I'm looking at, but my other sites already have terrible CTR (0.2%) so its nothing new to me. I'll just see how this goes, and after 3 months if its not going anywhere I'll stop working on the site, and renew my focus. Also, I am hoping that since the ads will be relevant to the topic, maybe webmasters will click the ads in searching for more ideas on how to build a common site. Who know, though...

Great idea for a site. You picked up a perfect domain for it too. Try to target the same long-tail searches in each post, that way you have a better chance for ranking in google this way. Highest paying keywords, highest paying adsense niches etc. Your site doesn't need to rank high for mortgage or hotels as that is not your niche. Your nice is high paying keywords and niches, so thats what you target.
