    Just want to know everyone's opinion in regards to writing fees. In all honesty, how much would you pay for......

    1. 100-word articles __________
    2. 200-word articles __________
    3. 300-word articles __________
    4. 400-word articles __________
    5. 500-word articles __________
    6. anything beyond that __________

    Normally pay $1 for 100 words article and same as others ($2 for 200 words...). Sometimes pay more then that and sometimes pay less then that. Depends on topic,quality of articles etc.

    That's what I thought. So I was pretty surprised when I saw people advertising their services at a price much lower than that.

    The average rate is $.01/word and I'm not trying to raise it ( depends on what I need .. if it's a huge article, I can pay a bit more ).
    I know that there are a lot of writers who are willing to do this job for $.10/word, but sorry man - $30 per article is a bit expensive, isn't it ?

    Back in August and September when the times were good the normal rates were also high..But now the current rates are $1/100 words
    However, if you are really very good then you can command about $2/100 words..

    It depends on the quality of the work, but generally if its a 3 out of 5, I will pay about .01 per word, if its 4 out of 5, its .02-.04 and if its 5 out of 5, its anywhere from .05 per word and up.

    AdrianMoss, if you want to buy ready articles, you can find them under CONTENT. Or you can hire writers at CONTENT SERVICES. Both are under Buy, Sell, Trade. :D

    Sorry friend, I never hired anyone for writing articles nor I did it for someone, so I won't be able to comment much.

    But I think it should depend on the quality of the article and how meaningful it is. If it has the potential to create a dynamic impact of the visitors, then surely its worth charging more for that article.

    BTW, which niche of articles you normally write?

    Well, the topics I cover are diverse. From health to diseases, earning money to paying debts, internet technology to Ice Age stuff, weight loss to weight gain, pets to plants... just about anything, really.


    To everyone who took the time to post here, I just want to thank you for providing me some valuable information. It seems to me that the rates are pretty decent and some would even pay premium for quality articles.

    So this only means I'm in the right place then. :cool: Thanks for your time! :D

    I would pay different amounts depending on who is writing the content. I have seen some pretty terrible writers here on DP with pretty bad English. I wouldn't pay these people anything, as why pay someone when you can do it better yourself for free. For an average writer, I'd pay maybe 0.01-0.02 per word depending on the content.

    The ordinary webmaster would probably not be able to pay more than $0.01-$0.03/word.

    It is relative, but most of them hardly manage to make their money back.

    At the higher end of the spectrum, you could get anywhere between $.10-$1/word.
