I am a little to heavy to train ninjitsu at the moment maybe if I get down some I might take that as something just for fun, but my main styles are most likely going to remain Shin Shin Jujitsu, MSC Kickboxing, and Muay Thai.
I might throw some Judo in there to, I could use a good hip toss every now and then at my job... lol

It's a good job you weren't up against Royce Gracie GatorFan!

    That guys insane! lol

Even though it was UFC he fights in, not MMA

I dont think he competes anymore... or does he? I'm not sure, I think I heard that he doesn't somewhere...

Gracie doesn't compete anymore, he came back once to fight Matt Huges, and lost, until that he had a 40-0-0 record, now its 40-1-0 he should have stayed retired. He is a legend.

He isn't just a legend, he's a Gracie!!! That makes him basically like, wow.

I cant remember the guys name but, he fought a guy once who was like a reformed christian from prison, the guy just pounded gracie until gracie managed to get the guy to tap out with an arm bar or something, but Gracie was so injured he had to forfit the rest opf the tournement. sucks!!!
I think thats just before he quit.

Thing with Gracie Jujitsu is that it is purely grapple and ground work based, the Gracies figured out that almost 80% of fights end up on the floor, so being able to do well there assures you a win, most fights like 70% have punches and kicks thrown in just to try to distract the opponent until you can get to them to do some damage.

The problem with Gracie Jujitsu is that if you cant get the opponent onto the floor you'll have a hrd time trying to win.

If someone was just trying to pummle you in the face or trying to stab you with a knife, you'd lose really quickly, thats where other martial arts trump Gracie jujitsu because they teach you how to defent against that. Gracie jujitsu is very much a 'sports' martial art.

Nice to see a mma figher here :) huge fan and always followed all mma fights, like vale tudo, ufc, pride, rio fights, etc.

If you have ground game, use it, love the combination using wresting and the perfect art of Brazilian Jui-Jitsu
