I totally disagree with you Guru. IMHO, Italy played the better game and scored two excellent goals. I don't see anything lucky there...

 

Agreed - Italy deserved the win You can not call it being lucky.

 

The Germans showed a good account of themselves. At the end of the day, they are still a young side and lack the quality in finishing. They could have done with their coach as striker. I'm loving how this World Cup is panning out If Portugal get through it'll be interesting with my sister in law being Portuguese.

 

Dcristo i think Portuguese have fair chance of winning worldcup as well.

The Germans have a good coach, but the team is not that great. BTW 2 players are polish, and 2 black guys, those are the best players. What's up with that? Germans are not that talented. They had a good coach, but it wasn't enough to cut the mustard. Italy rocked

Tonight we'll have a quite interesting game: FRANCE - PORTUGAL

 

Tough game.Every game that the French play is viewed as a possible last game for Zidane and France have managed to prolong his stay everytime.If Zizou plays the way he played against Brazil,then the Portuguese defence will have a tough time.
Carvalho has marshalled the defence beautifully and Portugal are defensively more organised than Brazil. So no slipups of the kind that let in the Henry goal.
Ok and I am rooting for France because my favourite team has been kicked out of the World Cup.Go Zizou,one last hurrah...

If PORTUGAL doesn't win today doesn't matter. I'm happy and proud for the wonderfull campaign that my national team did (or is continuing to do ).

However, I'm very confident we can win the french team. My team are very united!!!

I'm 70% sure that France win. 5% for Portugal, 24.9% for Italy and 0.1% for none of these teams.

 

I saw Germans cry on German TV ... all over soccer. That's cool. lol

 

The way Italy defeated Germany last night, they are the hot favorites now....

 

You could equally say that about France with the way they beat Germany. There are no real favourites no, anyone can win it.

 

Soccer is still very important in Europe and the rest of the world exept North America. There's only one world cup every 4 years so every time you don't win a world cup, it's like someone you know pass away. I don't bother much myself however.
