    Hi all,

It is clear that one should use match type and -ve keywords to avoid unwanted impressions, when one is targeting google search network.

But, Is the same applicable when one has opted for content network to show ppc ads?

That is actually a good question. You could argue that it would be unnecessary to reduce traffic when it has no affect on the Search Network (Quality Score & CTR side of things). But it also depends on how you generate your revenue, if you are selling a product or service then irrelevant traffic would cost you while an Adsense revenue generated website will do well with any semi-relevant traffic.

Negative keywords don't do the same thing on the content network at all. The content network is based on the overall theme of your adgroup, so adding in negatives would have no benefit.

    Hey all,
i am the real case of the match and not match keywords.

for the past 8 months i even did know, that there is match thing excist. average my CTR was .50-.80% and my daily budget was gone around 2-3 pm form 9 am. Now i switch to match keywords and i am getting 6-13% CTR and my budget running all day.

I think, that i am getting better quality clicks, and not just a clicks from passing by people. Is that good or not ?

Interesting fact, that if you use google keywords for any keywords for example: furniture, they have millions of monthly search, but if you switch to: [furniture], you getting half of that.

seems, that i am willing to pay for match, than for broad traffic. which 75% was useless.

speaking about cost? any match keywords will cost less, because traffic is less., that's what i am start understanding.

    good luck
