Remove the Blogger navigation bar so that your blog will look better. Just google "remove blogspot navigation bar" and you'll get detailed instruction how to do it. Be active in other forum sites, and with your blog signatures, you will get traffic from those signatures.
Hi, Looks pretty nice, professional and well done. Everyone wants to increase their traffic, but what kind of traffic are you getting right now? Advice will be different if you are getting 10, 1000 or 10000 visitors per day currently.
I'd suggest posting your blog RSS feed via User CP -> Edit Options -> Blog XML Feed URL so a link to your latest blog post will appear next to your name on every post you make. You should certainly submit your blog to blog directories and also RSS Feed directories. I have certainly seen some good traffic from doing this. Another way to gain some traffic is to visit other blogs and leave comments (not spam). Hope they help.
You can try below 1. SUbmit your feed to RSS directory 2. Submit your article to article submission site/social bookmarking 3. Forum posting 4. Blog commenting 5. Yahoo answering 6. Submit video to youtube
Do some video blogging on youtube. There was one guy on youtube I came across. He was posting 2, 3 and sometimes 4 tech blogs a day on youtube. And as a result he was getting a massive amount of traffic to his sites. And, the traffic that comes from youtube is very targeted. I do my own video blogging on youtube. After you get some subscribers built up, your videos can start raking in the views. The video I posted last night has already been viewed over 1,000 times and has gotten 75 comments with 10 hours. Stuff like that can really help drive traffic to your site.
try networking on twitter, it really effective. And write a few pillar posts on recent events (in gadgets, tech, or whatever your niche is) and try submitting them to digg/reddit/stumbleupon/delicious/mixx, etc.
Well, Every one will tell you "backlinks", so do I., tho, if you create quality content in a natural way you'll get backlinks, so making good and quality content is the best way
Write some articles on "gadgets" or some reviews of them and submit them to some article directories - that should bring you some traffic along with backlinks. You could also create another page or blog at wordpress.com, Squidoo, or Hubpages and link the two together.
Just thought I'd say that during the month of February I saw an increase in traffic of over 700% just from leaving comments on blogs.
Just wanted to say that..... you have a "Cool Electronics" blog, but your blog is anything but "cool". You have not gone the extra mile to create something dynamic. Nothing against free hosted blogs, some people do O.K. with them (for some people $2 a day is O.K. ), but would you walk into a car dealership to buy a Ferrari that was just a plain white building only 2 cars in the showroom ? Would you trust the opinion of a Ferrari salesman that drove a '75 Pinto, wore a $20 watch and $50 suit ? How can he possibly know anything about Ferrari's? Then why do you think that you don't have to go the extra effort on your blog? For the niche that you are trying to tackle your blog is not "The Latest", it's not "Cool", and you haven't even spent the $20 to host your own customized website...so how can you possibly know anything about "Cool Electronic Gadgets"? IMO, your blog screams MFA. Made For Adsense. If I wasn't a webmaster myself, and I stumbled onto your blog, I would back out immediately thinking that this is just a propped up page full of a bunch of ads. Which it is. If you want to really tackle a niche, you need to look the part to instill confidence in the readers that you may know what you are talking about. You are not showing that. Can you honestly put your blogger blog up against others from some of the members here and say to yourself "I have done a great job here", or have you done just enough to plop down some adsense and hope to miraculously make some money, with so many other webmasters out there in the same niche that have gone the extra mile to actually attract people ? Do everything that was suggested here, and plain and simple, Make Your Blog Better. Get a better design. Make use of multimedia (videos and such). Use some color. Look around at some blogs in the same niche that are successful and see what they are doing. you don't have to spend a bunch of money, but you do have to put in the time and make the effort. And I say this to everyone who is just starting out. The days of setting up a blogger blog, on a default template and regurgitating already written content surrounded by adsense is over. It is not 2002 anymore. If you want to make money online, all the links, articles an directories in world will not help you, if you do not grab peoples attention. IMMEDIATELY. You have to do that visually first, or they will never even get to the content. Trust me, I learned this the hard way and wasted a lot of time before anyone sat me down and made me realize it. Learn from my mistakes and stop wasting time with average, free blogs. They are a dime a dozen. Very few stick out anymore...they all look the same. Attract readers with SEO, Appeal to them with design, and wow them with content. That is the only way that you will even get them to the ads in the first place, without spending money on PPC.
try submitting to social bookmarking and put links like everywhere but most importantly........... target your keyword
Amazing post. This is really the only advice the OP will need. If your niche is high-tech, you really need to improve your blog/website's image. Hobby and opinionated sites can sort of get away with a fairly simple "home made" design, but those who wish to go far and make some real cash need to be unique, attractive, and require some investment.
My best advice from what I experienced as a typical end user would be that the ads were a bit overwhelming being inbetween every single blog post, and also I feel you could use a better template/theme... it wasn't too easy on the eyes.
