How Low Can A Scammer Go Threatening Death To An 85 Year Old Grandmother?

Check this Nigerian Scumbag out, a so called hitman scammer, who calls himself Agent Killer who doesn't obviously give a shit about who he half scares to death online, to try and extract money from them, in this case $15,000 to spare that persons life, even though in this case, the 'victim' could have been a little frail old lady of 85 years old, who has just been released from hospital.

Although I set this scammer up myself as a scambaiter, pretending to be this elderly grandmother, it just goes to prove how low some of these scammers are prepared to go with their threats online and couldn't give a shit about who they frighten to extort money out of their victims.

I've included the email header information below.

This scammer, what is known as a hit man or assassin scammer goes by the name of Bal4 H4assan (substitute the number 4 for the letter: 'a')

Here is what this victim would have received from this unsavoury character:

You threaten a little old granny like this - who are you?

What did I ever do to you?

I am 85 years old, I'm frail, I've just come out of hospital and you are scaring me.

What do you want, who are you?

    Charming fellow!

The point is, if this was a very elderly person, actually irrespective of who might receive this, can you imagine how frightened you could be if you really was 85 years old, a little frail old lady and received this kind of threat in your email inbox, from someone you didn't know nor had you ever heard of, demainding that you pay them thousands of dollars, to spare your life.

The very sad thing is, is that now and again, these scammers do actually make money adopting this vile practice online.

I know for a fact that this particular Nigerian scammer does this all day long, every day, 7 days a week to scam innocent victims, anyone that he sends his threats too, day in, day out, week in, week out, month in, month out.

Here is the email header information as promised above (the grannygerty ficticious email address, I'm just about to nuke it, delete it all together as to be honest, I've better things I guess to do with my time, than scambaiting all day long) If you do want to find out further information to raise public awareness on scammers in general, go here for further information: http://www.419hell.com/

What I find sad is that an ordinary member of the public, some one who isn't so wised up as today's younger generation online, could receive something like this and be frightened out of their wits.

This kind of scammer is hoping for just that kind of person.

He'll send out en masse at least 1000 of these emails a day, 95% plus will delete it of course, or it'll just go to spam, he'll get a few innocent members of the public replying out of that 1000 and probably about three dozen or so experienced scambaiters, who will pose as potential innocent victims and will take up as much of his time as possible, to stop him using that time to try and scam others, such as 'this lil elderly old granny'.

He doesn't give a shit who it is that he scams, as long as he can frighten them into parting with their money.

And just recall that what I said http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=10760486&postcount=10

All though I am not a astrologer, but many of my predictions are correct. I don't know how they come to my mind but whatever I have predicted was real.

And now it looks like these scammers will now play the roles of professional extortionists too and may be someday they might actually land to our home pretending as if they are from cyber crime. Who the hell knows that to what extent they people will go to.

No, that is not my website and nooo I wasn't just making the story up.

Good grief, DP is such hard work having to explain everything down to the minutest detail.

Can't some people ever take anything on face value or do they walk around in life constantly, so suspicious all the bloody time?

A lovely chap obviously, I'll continue to play the situation with him, just to see how far he would 'under normal circumstances' take this, using this scambait persona, made up by me, pretending to be a real victim - may as well waste as much of his time as possible, rather than see him scamming someone else, with that available time.

I'll post up the full corresondence here as it goes on.

Ok, here is my reply, written a few seconds ago: (Btw if you are tempted to do this yourself, make sure first that you read all of the safety guidelines at any of the major scambaiting forums - gmail is very secure, which is the reason for this purpose, with this guy, why I'm using it) - Do not just blindly write to these people, if you do not know what you are doing!

Frightening a little old lady and now not succeeding, since I believe you must just be one hell of an idiot, why not come forward and tell me who you really are and what you want.

What pleasure do you get from threatening people like this online?

Are you really that sick in the head?

If you want money, your'e going to have to force it out of me.

So 'idiot' what's your next move besides spouting out silly words?

    Grow up!

Let's start riling him up a little bit at a time.

Watch this space as he gets angrier and angrier possibly, over the next several days, and I turn from a poor little old 'granny' into my true self, let's see how truly thick this guy is and whether he'll catch on.

You can also find this so called hitman scammer on this thread: http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=157051

i always find nigerian scammers funny, i recently come back from spain and i actually entered a lottery. I come back to UK to find a letter saying i have won 500k, i would of believed it because on the letter it said spain and the lottery but as i opened the anvelop it was on a pink paper and lets just say that i can do a better job graphically in ms paint, the 'stamp' was printed and what a stamp! it just said "lottery" lol. I actually phoned them up in spain and a nigerian guy picked up, speaking english, he told me i need to send them 10% to secure the deposit then they will send me the money, then i will get my 10% back. lol .. i was gonna notify the police but i dont think they care.

and yeah some people are soo desperate they go to extreme lenghts

This thread makes me recall "The 3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference." (see: http://j-walk.com/other/conf/)

One of the topics - "A round table discussion: Is email now Nigeria's top export?"

    Hahaha.

Whenever I receive one from a Nigerian billionaire I must say I just laugh, how anyone could fall for it is amazing, they are awfully written and quite obviously scams. Having said that I guess the elderly might not be as up to date on such scams as us and so it may be a genuine problem but that assassin one is even more ridiculous.

Make sure you go to one of the scambaiting forums First, Before you start taking up scambaiting, safety online is a number one priority.

Remember that you are dealing with out and out criminals here, who don't give a sh*t you. Use a fake Gmail address too, they're very secure.

Do not whatever you do, write this this bloody idiot from your own email address.

For one of the posters below you that replied, whilst it may seem quite unbelievable that people reply to these kind of scams, the sad thing is, is that in some cases they do and the way they are worded some of them, they're getting cleverer all the time.

Take for example the 'Love Scammers' or the 'Craigslist Scammers', would you be able to differentiate between a genuine reply and a fake one, every time?

Here is Bal4 Hass4ns latest reply* (below) to my email in bold up above, in a previous reply, this absolutely demonstrates his callousness and his attitude (in a nutshell, he wouldn't care who he sent this too, as long as he gets a reply back from you, it could be a member of your family, a work colleague, a friend, anyone in fact).

The purpose of this thread is to raise education levels about the depths scammers will go to to extract money from you. Ok so a hitman scammer is a bit of a rare breed, you don't get many of them thankfully, but hopefully this too will enable you to become more aware of the subject and hopefully, you'll do some research on the subject for yourself.

I'm providing the link again so you can do some research of your own - http://419eater.com & http://419hell.com (there are many others too, do a google search under 'Scambaiting')

Again, imagine how frightening this could be to an elderly couple or an elderly person living on their own or a very young person.
