I am confused. I know how google adsense works.

Is there something called Yahoo adsense? Yahoo revenue earning program.

Please explain how to start yahoo revenue earning? This is a great help.

How does YPN compare to Adsense these days? I wish Google got some real competition so they were forced to increase the percentage the Publishers received.

Well, even using the term Yahoo AdSense might not be that wrong anyway. Especially if you refer back to the status some months ago when the ad sharing cooperation was in place between Yahoo and Google. Although Yahoo has its own version of Publishing system and advertising program, but at a time the Google ads were seen on the sites that were meant to only receive the Yahoo ads and this was good for some months.

It takes its own time for approval and at present the YPN is restricted to US only.

Adsense can't compare to the many ppc advertising programs out there.

IMO adsense just pays more =]

    From Wikipedia:

The Yahoo! Publisher Network (abbreviated YPN) is a beta network launched on August 2, 2005 by Yahoo!. As the service is currently in Beta, it is currently only accepting US-Based publishers; it is believed that Yahoo! will expand this when the program comes out of Beta. YPN provides cost per click contextual advertising, similar to Google Adsense, as well as various tools and services to assist publishers in building and improving their websites.

Four years since YPN has been launched and it is still in beta!
Wonder, how much more time it needs to complete the testing of the set up!! :(

It hope it does get out of beta... before, the company itself goes into beta (some co. pouncing on it!)
