Can anyone tell me how to buy a domain here?

    I have won a bid and the seller of the domain is asking me to send the bid money to his paypal account and to pm him my godaddy id. Is this the transaction process? Will my money be safe?

    Yes, that is transaction process when you buy or sell domain name. Your money hopefully will be safe if you deal with a well known member or if the member have an iTrader. Do checkout his/her iTrader first before making any deal.

    I checked his itrader. It says 6. Can I get back my money if the person is fraudulent? and He has asked for godaddy id. What is it? does it mean my godaddy username? Anyways thanks a lot for your reply.

    If the person is 'fraudulent' it will be up to PayPal to get you your money back, DigitalPoint admins/mods won't get involved.
    6 itrader isn't a very high number, but it's no reason to assume the worst.

    If you're going to buy a domain, go with GoDaddy -- the only registrar I trust.

    OP, keep in mind that it's the only registrar that he trusts. There are plenty others out there that are decent, people will have bad things to say about every company out there but there are certainly a handful. Do your DD and you'll be fine.
