SERP is not Stable in Google.

Hello friends
One of my site sometimes ranked well in Google Top 10 for one of the most searched keyword and Some time jumped to 3rd page or second page for the same keyword. In Next couple of days again back to its earlier position to Top 10 Results of one of my prime targeted keyword. These happening for past 3 months

Site is one year old.. Any one can suggest why this is happening to my site SERP

 

This is the google dance. Whenever they change their algo, they find new backlinks for competitors, your are bound to dance in serp.

Build more backlinks to gain stability.

 

for me google not use SERP method now, just buy they adwords ... only yahoo,msn it's still good using SERP for search index...

 

Will it happen for 3 Months continuously ?

 

I cannot say how google will manage their engine for the future.

 

when you build a some backlinks, google find them and show then on higher position but you dont seem to have enought quality backlinks to hold the position for which it moves back again. do some more backlinks and try to get as many quality links as you can and your ranking will be more sustained

 

The google ranking of my sites also varies from time to time, that's why I build quality backlinks to make my ranking stable. Linkbuilding should be part of your daily activities.

 

This is due to the competitiveness of the keyword you target. Your competitors also work in bringing the KW to the top position and same as you as well. I suggest you try other techniques so that you'll beat them in search results.

 

same is happening with me for the past one month for a specific keyword but i don't think it's a Google dance. it do not continue for such a long period

 

Its always happens ,keep building quality links

 

It may happen as the google uses different servers to load the SERP. The cached list,ranking ,indexed pages everything may vary from one server to another.

 

There are couple of reasons for this phenomenon which is called "Google Dancing".

1.Your competitors are heavily optimizing their content.
2.Or you are optimizing your content or adding fresh contents.

A part of google's page rank algorithm this will stablize without your intervention once google fixes all backlinks and related stuffs.

I completely agree with you. The ranking of the site in Google sometimes fluctuates, and the best way to establish them is to use of link building by creating good source of balcklinks to your site.

 

Or it could be a bug in the Google toolbar, sometimes it shows a page of PR6 when it's only supposed to be PR1.

 

Is this called Google dance?

Me too have noticed it for one of my site, sometime my site comes at #8 but other day it comes at #11, and also sometime I have seen my site at #3 as well

When my site comes at #3 I get huge traffic

 

Major SERPS going on, posted the other day how top BROAD keywords in top 3 pages where solid for awhile, now both dropped ten pages back, now One came back into the top 3 pages again, just tonight...

The dance is on, How do I know? I went from happy to miserable to happy again all in a few days..

the big G is going to have to start paying for my bi polar meds soon....

 

It can happen for 3 reasons: 1. you are connected with different user
2. your links are not strong enough
3. your competitors are donig very strong SEO

 

Do not worry about that its called Google Dance. Google updating their database so automatically your SERP will get back to you soon. Don't stop your off page optimization.
