So, I am getting a 9 year old domain for 45$ .

It is of 5 alphabet. not hard to remember. Should I buy it?

Yes, even if it has a low PR, an old domain like that can benefit you a lot.

 

PR, backlinks ? If it's 0 PR domain without backlinks, I would not buy it ..

 

here's a few quick question you should know before you buy a domain,
1) is it adsense banned
2) is it google banned
3) is it pronouncible
4) has it got any backlinks
5) is it violating any copyrights...

45$ for 9yr domain is very good but b4 buying just check what uttoransen has told

 

Be sure that the you are dealing with the exact website owner.Many hackers have managed to steal the domains without the owner knowing that.

So check the whois of the website first and send an email to the registrant.If that info is not available, then just shoot an email to telling the sale of the site and check if he responds back.

 

I won't buy it. Bcoz owner can easily get $100+ for such domain. there must be some problem.
