A few Quick Questions

Hi I was wondering a few compliance things with Adsense.

I was wondering if I could do the following:

    1. run adbrite ads on the same pages as google ads (I have seen TONS of other sites doing this)

    2. say the words on the site: "I am trying to get one million advertisers click"

This is the goal of the website and it doesn't inform the End User to click on ads or advise them to in any way, it just says a general goal.

I know a lot of people are going to say, "no this isn't allowed" but I am looking for some feedback.

    Thanks!

    1) are the adbrite ads 'contextual'? (automatically displaying ads based on your site) - if they ARE then it's against TOS, if not, you're OK.
    2) Drawing any attention to the ads, or inciting users to click in ANY way is against TOS - so it's not allowed..

Like let's say you just have the ads that you can only purchase through adbrite then your okay, but if they are interestrial ads? (ads that show up without purchase) then thats not a good idea?

and if you said something like
"the goal of the site is to get 1,000 clicks"
(doesn't refer to any of the ads and is very vague, can basically refer to anything. Well I guess it wouldn't tell the intended audience anything either)

Also, what if on other pages you had something that informed people to click on ads on another page, but there was no google ads on that page or any ads whatsoever.

then that would be okay as well?

The fact remains that it is google's program and you play by their rules.

Everyone wants their ads clicked and to make money but you have to find the balance and work within the TOS otherwise they'll ban you.

I am not making millions but the adsense forum here has helped increse my CTR.

I guess then if you think it is inappropriate or violates the TaC then don't do it :)

You can not, EVER, refer to your Adsense ads unless your site is about Adsense, and you are reviewing Adsense the program, etc. Any other mention of clicks or your ads on your site is obvious hinting at the surfer to click on your ads. I'm afraid you chose your site's topic poorly and didn't think hard enough on the topic and its consequences. Likewise, it is also against Adbrite's TOS, I'm sure.
