Ezine Articles is taking damn long to approve my articles

Has this ever happened to you? Ezine Articles is taking their own sweet time to approve my articles. It's been like 9 days, and only God knows when they'll finally approve...

Is this normal? I am a Basic Plus level, and never had to wait so long. BTW, I'm 2 years in Ezine...it's not like I joined yesterday and started bombing them.

Unless they are flooded with the huge mass of people submitting to them.

Probably thousands a day....not like as if Ezine Articles is so effective anymore, as it was 2-3 years ago!

Yeah, it must suck to get thousands of articles a day. All those "mass submitters"....

Send them an email and they should reply with why it is taking them so long. Good Luck.

Ezine articles accepts tons of articles per day, and they have to review each submission. Then they have also paid account which they review faster compare to basic account

If you are a platinum level author it should only take about 48 hours...

That has been my own personal experience.

They are really good at responding to emails (At least they were for me). They kept sending my article back as "not approved" even though I was fixing the mistake they told me to fix, but when I emailed them they responded quickly and resolved it!

It shouldn't be taking that long. They tend to approve articles within 7 days of submission. You should email them and find out the reason.

Ezine also reminded every author to contact them in case the articles take too long to approve.. so contact them to enquire..

I submitted my first article yesterday so judging by previous posts I should email them in a day or two if I haven't heard anything. Nine days seems to be on the lengthy side for approval but then I'm not a paying customer at this time.

Well, today is the 10th day, and worse still, they are not even bothered to reply to my email asking them why. If there was something wrong they should tell me what's wrong!

What's the longest you have waited? I see so many ugly/spammy articles with misspellings get approved like crazy...

I think it's just bad luck if you got a thick, redneck %^&* editor who can't really read properly, approving your articles...

They take 7 working days to approve, so please leave out the weekends. My last article submitted 7 days back has yet to be approved. :)

Well, you can check the status of your articles...there is a bar in your control panel showing the progress. I can tell you that one of my articles is sitting in the editorial queue for a week, while another one has not even been moved to any editorial queue.

Furthermore, I sent them an email 3 days ago, and they don't even bother answering. I've been in Ezine for a while, I'm a Basic Plus level, and I NEVER had to wait this long....plus they replied emails back then. That was 2 years ago.

It seems to me Ezine Articles quality and speed, and customer service, or whatever you want to call it, is going down the drain....and if that's the case, then it will probably be worse 1 year from now...I think that is a fair assumption.

I'd submitted 2 articles about 40 days ago. One of them got approved in 5 days and the other one in 8 days. Hopefully the one I submitted 6 days back will be approved in a day or two, unless it is rejected.

It´s normal that it takes over a week to get an article approved at Ezinearticles.

I waited over a month, then they said I had to make some changes so I did then resent it in December and heard nothing since.

Did you edit it online using their editor or did you resubmit it again? In case you resubmitted it again, you should have first deleted the wrong one from the queue. There was one particular instance where they said that my heading had nothing to do with the body (I guess it was an article about Indian content writers). I had to change it 3 times before it got accepted. It was my mistake, but in the end they did publish it :)

Yeah it seems to take a long time for me aswell, and then I have an article that linked to other sites so they kept telling me to re-submit, after a while i just decided to submit articles without links in them.
    Patience is a virtue.
