I am promoting Xbox 360 repair products (Fix red ring of death) for last 9 months now and I am seeing a great downfall in conversion. I think on most targeted keywords people are getting good free info by which they are getting success to fix their Xbox, also red ring of error is occurring in specific range of year and Microsoft has successfully over come this problem with recent consoles. I don’t see future to invest more into this product. May be merchants will not agree these fact but, I need to know how affiliates are going with this type products.
Interesting, I have seen a downturn just recently as well but I thought it might be due to competition.
I can't really say much myself as I have had webhosting issues over the past 2 months, but since my box has come back up I still haven't had any sales on any products yet. In saying that I am ranking quite well for certain keyphrases in google :>
There are some definite problems w/ clickbank lately. Eventually it only makes sense that this niche will fade. However right now there are still a ton of xboxes out there failing, and every day many of them are becoming older than their 3 year warranty. Meaning they'll have to search online for any fixes. Right now the best places for good converting free traffic are the q&a type websites. Like yahoo answers, and fixya.com.
You had given me a good promotion Idea, which I had over looked for a period of time. But we cant neglect the fact people are getting solutions for free on internet. December was one of the best for me as far as this product is concern.I will give a final try with Q&A type sites but I still worry about the visitor volume.
