Does the Google link I posted to that new thread, have a toolbar PR of 0? or is my toolbar playing up?

    Cheers

Yeah, I just checked that link using http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/pagerank-dc.html
and it says it is PR-0, and I also checked a page I added to a site today, which says "undef"
That thread was started a week ago, so for it to be registering a PR, must mean somethings going on aye!

    Cheers

Everybody may say that, but Google is the only one that can do it ;)

Maybe its just a minor up date, or to Google's forum only... dunno, I am not sure if they update there own at the same time as everyone else or not.

    Cheers

updates are very frequent, for new sites and pages but the PR is always 0
is not a normal PR update, maybe just a temporary PR assigned

Google Updates PR of internal pages every now and then......But the homepage pagerank of domains get updated only after an interval of 2-3 months.

That is the case till now,but can't predict what Mr G will do in the future.

    Thanks

4 of my sites went down to PR0. I think it's minor update to penalize those sites that use tricky method, sell links and do paid review.

    Google get smarter again... :(

    I agree with petyard. upgrading to pr0 can happen at any time. I started two sites recently that both recently changed to pr0--...but have noticed no pr changes among my already established sites--i don't believe a PR update is in progress;

No any changes in my sites as well.
However, there are some crazy results for the back links. When using link: -link:same domain (to show only external links) google displays from millions to a dozen external links??? Very, very strange, maybe the back-link update is in progress and that's why these results are greatly varied and not real at all..

YES THERE HAS BEEN A PR UPDATE!! And ouch, my website mrdefinite.com has just been slapped from PR2 to PR1, which I have no idea why. I didn't do paid post, didn't put dofollow paid links, etc.

    But why...
