    its a social bookmarking platform which you can use either to run your own social bookmarking site or visit pligg sites to bookmark your site and get some backlinks (given that you are bookmarking on dofollow pligg sites)

    It is basically a Digg clone. To be honest I started one of those awhile back and after much marketing which has been successful before for my other companies it got no response. This one was in the sports niche but it seemed like there were hundreds if not thousands of other pligg sites out there that were in different degrees of customization. Plus after coding I found a few securities holes in it. I don't think this clone will do much for you unless you integrate it into an already existing website.
