Yes indeed Grayth, that was an awsome post. Wish I had read something like that when I first started out!
Thanks. Use babelfish, eh, what a good idea. I will try it, and post how it works. Can't wait to see if it saves me some valuable time.
Some good stuff here. I am using EZA of course, as well as GoArticles. Has anyone tried iSnare yet and have any opinions on its performance?
My advice is to simply throw up 2-3 articles onto each of those, and let them cook for a while. If you get what you consider a worthwhile amount of hits to each, keep on using them. I started with 8 top article sites, then cut down to just EZA and Articlesbase after some advice - But then I went and looked at the results of the rest. Ends up I'd gotten 30 hits per article within 2-3 weeks on the "secondary" article directories (in this case ideamarketers). For me it's worth taking 5 minutes to rewrite and submit an article. Since last fall I've received 140 hits to a (in my opinion) poorly written and unoptimized article on weightloss. So it's worth giving it a shot
Try submitting your articles to some of these sites: http://www.ezinearticles.com htp://www.ideamarketers.com http://www.advertisingknowhow.com http://www.affsphere.com http://www.reprintarticles.com http://articlesbase.com http://www.articlecity.com http://www.amazines.com
It depends heavily on your niche. Try to predict how many webmasters would be interested in publishing your articles. I personally love iSnare, it does its job beautifully and is worth every penny, but there are topics that simply don't work.
Ezinearticles is probably the best but they keep getting stricter I was up to 200 dollars a day until they banned some of the niches
Didn't ezinearticles used to allow keyword links in the upper part of articles and now its only 2 links in the bottom signiture block?
So if I write one three hundred word article per day based around keywords that are popular but not TOO popular (like "iPhone") I should be good to go, right? I assume that if I write an article everyday, submit to one or two top article sites, and mix and match the article to Squidoo AND Hubpages and perhaps Digg the Lens or Hubpage then I will be on my way to $20 per day or more? Am I on the right track?
Not really. If it was that simple we would all be doing it. You wont get anywhere near the top of Google targeting "iPhone". Maybe trying something like "Download iPhone Games" that is a little more specific but still gets plenty of searches.
This lot is usually classed as the top 5 But each to their own. * EzineArticles.com * GoArticles.com * ArticleDashboard.com * ArticleCity.com * IdeaMarketers.com It is better to rewrite your article for each directory however you can use the same keywords for the title on each if you wish or spread a range of keyword titles on the same subject for each rewrite. That way each one will be unique.
I was using iphone as an example of an OBVIOUSLY saturated keyword. So you are saying writing and submitting articles every day is NOT the way to go?
I wrote an article about office conflict. I get a lot of hefty traffic from that article. The other one is a silly one about how to clean your fish tank. I do pretty well on that one too.
Article marketing can work this is something I used to gain affiliate sales and opt in emails and then I sold the blog also for $600. I wrote 40 articles submitted over 2 months I think, it was about 3-5 articles a week and I did nothing else except post them to My blog first then a week later to Ezine articles then a couple of days later to Article Base Ideamarketers Article city and Article Dashboard After this and after about 6 months of the site being up I had 700 plus opt ins and about 11-15 sales approximate profit $1,000 (with blog sale included).
Here's a question...when you post to multiple article directories, do you post the same articles to each, or do you post new content/ reworded articles to each?
Thanks for all the info, you guys. I am on some of these article directories already, including EZA, but not getting anywhere in terms of income or traffic. I am looking to earn upwards of £1,000 ($1,500) per month - for now.
ezinearticles is the best, I have over 200 articles submitted and submit around 5 a day and I make around 1,000 alone from these articles and going I grow my list with article marketing as well
