i got a .co.cc dns service in free but they told me that it is valid for only one year. What will be done after one year??has anyone experienced this kind of problem??
Problem ? What you are talking about .. ? You can be happy that it will be active for 1 full year as it's totally free. Peoples usually register their domains for 1 year and renewing them. I don't think that you would buy a domain name for 10 years ?
Actually i am asking that .co.cc provides me one year free domain but after one year what will they do with me. Either they will provide me free of cost domain for next year or charge me some money??
ya I read this but when i register URL forwarding they said free for life but when I register DNS Domain, they said for only one year!!! yes i will buy my own .com domain but now what will be happened with this domain??
Friend, 1st of all co.cc is not a domain registry. Its basically a domain name. They have setup the services such that when you register a sub-domain, it will actually look like a domain. In other words co.cc is a domain and jamshed.co.cc is actually a sub-domain. Its better that you go for a TLD instead of using a sub-domain. Remember, search engines will always take the co.cc service as the sub-domain and not the domain.
