Hi, Yeah, at the moment I've been on and off, i've been building 10 links daily sometiems exceeding this to 20.. and overall I think I've done 400 new links this month but most havn't been accpted into the directories.
There isn't a set number of links that a website should build. Different niches will get naturally get more links than others. Also it may take many more links to rank well for certain keywords. Just build links at a pace that you can reasonably manage. As long as you keep varying the link anchor text, you can build links at whatever pace suits you. Still don't go out and get hundreds of links one day and then only a few the next. You need to make your linking patterns look as natural as possible.
As far as I know 4-6 high PR link per day every day is optimal... This is the amount that linkVana use, Fergal
dozn't matter how many links u build per day. the thing should be consider is that link should be naturally build & should match with your site's niche
Actually, the best use of your time is to make sure the backlinks you're getting are from high ranking sites....high page rank forums and/or edu sites. Even if the subject matter of those sites isn't highly relevant to your niche, these authority sites can pass on a lot of power to your site through the backlink. For instance, one backlink from a page rank 6 or 7 site can boost the page rank of the page on your site that you're linking to in a dramatic way - you can build internal links and not just links to your home page. Are these 400 directory submissions or 400 actual backlinks? I don't think you will be able to build so many backlinks to get a penalty. Just don't forget to rotate your anchor text every now and then and you will be fine.
Backlinks Speed limit is just on blackhatters (webmasters who use blackhat link building methods). If you build links the whitehat-way, then you shouldn't worry at all at the speed of getting backlinks. And if you are doing a web directory submission, try submitting your website to 10 to 30 directories everyday. But don't just rely on web directories, try out other link building strategies too.
That's too slow in my opinion. Try to add some zeros I agree. In fact directory submission should be your last resort.
Sorry you mentioned getting backlinks and directories for increasing pr. I was wondering what you would suggest for best results and where (if any) do you recommend starting all this?
Pal, I was just saying to be slow in directory submission in order to give more time on the REAL link building strategies. That's all. Directory Links are the one of the weakest type of links you can get. Instead, try focusing on getting links from authoritative sites.
like anything related to SEO, as long as it looks NATURAL, then you will not be slapped by google, if you have been doing 5 links per day and then suddenly you are getting 15-20 or more then google will be suspicious, your number of 2799 i feel would be at the top limit of being acceptable maintain the same pace and you should be fine
